We had such an incredible stay here. The house is beautiful and so comfortable. Really enjoyed the hot tub, and had a nice breakfast around a morning fire. Close beach access and close to shopping in town. Overall it was a great weekend.

This home is well-appointed, very comfortable, and perfect for a getaway in Lincoln City. The only disappointment was the exorbitant management fee charged by Vacasa.

Lots of kitchen appliances, dog amenities, and easy access to lots of areas. Tight parking and streets but overall a great stay.

Overall, a very nice property. We enjoyed our stay. Location is great for getting to all parts of Lincoln City, though fitting 3 cars would be tight. The roads surrounding this property are quite narrow, but we were able to fit a Pilot and van. Unfortunately, the floors were incredibly dirty when we arrived so we had to buy our own swiffer since the home had no mop or swiffer. All of our socks and feet were completely black. There was food on the floor from prior renters as well that, unfortunately, were discovered first by our toddler. Vacasa told us we would be reimbursed for the swiffer and as of writing this, that hasn’t happened yet, but will hopefully be coming soon. Though despite this, the decor was immaculate and the kitchen well-stocked. A lot of game options for kids and adults alike. The outdoor spigot had a hot and cold option which was very helpful when returning from the beach. The large picnic style table in the dining room was amazing. We all really enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit as well. Private en-suite bathrooms were a bonus. The road to the beach was pretty hilly so we opted to drive the half mile since we had little kids with us. Overall, we would probably stay here again, but hopefully they have worked out their floor cleaning issues.

Loved the loft area for the kids with board games, DVDs, Xbox, and the pullout sofa for them to lounge on. Having a table w/ 4 chairs up there was very convenient for art and games. Neighborhood was quiet and we sat around the fire pit in the mornings enjoying our coffee and the view. Only challenge was the parking - three spaces but the one on the side of the house was directly adjacent to a neighboring house parking space. So there would be no way to utilize both spaces at the same time as you would be unable to open car doors in either vehicle. The kitchen is very well equipped. Our only issue was the fridge water and ice maker was broken. All in all, a great vacation home.

This was a wonderful experience for all of us including the dogs! This was the most well equipped rental we have ever rented! Everything was so comfortable and clean with so much to do for all ages. The hot tub was especially enjoyed since we happened to chose such a rainy weekend but there was plenty to do inside with games for the kids and a well stocked kitchen for cooking. We would definitely would stay here again! The only downside was it appeared that the diners keeper fairy didn’t like bad weather either and so no glass balls were found!😢

This is such a beautiful house in a very nice neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay and loved everything in the house. Our grandsons had so much fun with all the toys too.

We loved this home. SO CLEAN. Pantry is stocked with spices and misc dry goods. Very well equipped kitchen- glass wear and silverware are heavy and not super cheap light weight. The bunk room was great for three teen girls. The hot tub was perfect - the water was low so we added some. Spacious, well supplied, cozy home. The beach access a hike - at least on the way back up the hill - so people with littles may want to keep that in mind - there is a parking lot though, so driving is an option. If I had to list a complaint - we weren't sure how or where to park our vehicles. I think we came up with an ok solution but having a note about where we are supposed to go would be nice. Picky pants comment - not a real problem.

We had a wonderful family vacation and this house was perfect for our needs. Close to the beach and close to any food we wanted. Only Nemo was the communication with manager of the property. It was made very clear in the booking that we were to reach out if something was broken or messed up that we could not clean. I reached out to the manager and no one returned our call the whole week we were there.

This was a great vacation home! Enjoyed every moment with the family. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Overall it’s a very nice vacation home. The kitchen is very well equipped and the appliances are top of the line. It was very clean when we arrived. The fire pit, hot tub and fireplaces are all awesome. The downstairs bedroom is not a queen bed, maybe a full/double but it’s comfortable. The terrace on the 2nd floor has amazing views of the ocean. The downstairs tv had multiple remotes and there were no instructions. We were able to figure it out eventually. Upstairs the tv comes with an Xbox game with controllers and headsets which our sons appreciated. There are Beach toys, beach chairs, a beach tent and towels provided. We would definitely come back! Parking was good for our 2 mid-size vehicles. It’s a beautiful neighborhood with many upscale vacation homes all around and easy beach access about a half mile away.

Great experience and we were thoroughly impressed with the quality of this beautiful home in this well stocked get away. They even have a Vitamix and Instapot and cute fiesta ware. Maytag washer and dryer were fabulous! Little details like labeling light switches made navigating the space easy. Location is good if you enjoy neighborhood walks and of course rolling hills. Beach is a quick 5 minute drive or 110 stair trek if you don’t mind a workout. Our only suggestion is to supply a battery Dyson vacuum for managing the floors. The boom and pan didn’t function well. Would stay there again!

Nice view when the sun is out. Comfortable beds, ample room to spread out. Well equipped for people and pups. We would rent again!

The Wade N Sea was so well-equipped to host four adults and five children for our week stay! It’s the perfect jumping off point for all kinds of adventures, from whale watching in Depoe Bay to heading north to Tillamook and to ride the train from Garibaldi to Rockaway Beach. The house has a relaxing hot tub. We used the grill. There is a fire pit in the front yard, but we didn’t have a chance to use it. The views from the front porch and upper deck are perfect! We even spotted whales! The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfasts and suppers at the house (coffee grinder, cast iron, basic pantry staples, etc.). The big dining table was great for playing games (which the house is stocked with). The kid’s “bunkhouse” room was perfect, as well as the great play space upstairs. The tv above the cozy fireplace has Netflix which made for a few great movie nights. We walked to the beach a few times (but be prepared to walk many stairs down to the ocean). Otherwise there is just a short few minute drive to another public beach access. The Olivia Beach area is very pedestrian friendly (we took many walks). There is a beautiful wooded area right down the block with a walking trail, and we even seen some deer! There are charging stations around the house for electronics. I don’t think we’ve ever stayed at a more well-equipped vacation home! The only negative is the “three” parking spots behind the house. They are tiny and not marked, so we had other people parked in our spots. We had a van and a car. The car barely fit on the side of the house, and there would be nearly no room to get in and out with three vehicles. I called Vacasa and never got a return response regarding the unmarked spaces and people parked in them. It would be great to have them clearly marked as Wade N Sea parking spots. You’ll probably need to buy toilet paper, kleenexes, and possibly laundry soap if you’re staying for a week. If we come back to the coast, the Wade N Sea will be somewhere we would definitely stay again though!

Super place to stay!

Being a retired travel agent, traveling 6 months of year to warmer locations south, I was relieved to find this home comfortable and well appointed. We book anywhere from 10-12 rentals over winter holiday south very year, thus I feel I have a good range of experiences to warrant a 5 star review. The home was better than expected regarding kitchen supplies, comfy mattresses, bedding, furniture…all of which seem new. Location was 1/2 mile drive to beach access, but lots parking at least in winter. Weather in March can be bad (I’m an Oregonian, and spent much of childhood at coast), but we had pretty decent weather for week in March. Parking can be tight if you have big truck, as another reviewer mentioned, but we just parked in back house with no problem as we never had more than 2 cars. The hot and cold water at front door perfect for washing dogs feet before coming into home. Didn’t use bbq. Being a gourmet cook, having high end kitchen baking supplies, spices was a relief as generally bring my own. (You should bring plastic wrap, tin foil, plastic containers limited). Kitchen well organized with labels so thanks for that! Vacasa dropped off a mop as I like keeping rentals clean. We didn’t use hot tub at all. A few suggestions for owners/management company if their so inclined: better weighted shower curtain so doesn’t come out of shower. more pots for cooking. More laundry pods…I always wash couple loads for maids…but couldn’t do that as ran out. Cushions for dining table chairs, placemats would make more comfortable. I’d put a piece of glass on nice wood dining table to preserve wood….but then that’s just me. These are just suggestions but didn’t deflect from overall enjoyment. Speaking of longer stays, was disappointed we couldn’t reach Vacasa management vacations to extend our stay by 2-3 days which was available online. I tried for 2 days emailing, texting, calling only to be put on hold, and disconnected. Finally after packing car day before as checkout time is 10 am….vacasa called night before to apologize and say could extend stay. But we already had reservations elsewhere, and spent hours packing car. We would have loved to extend our stay , and quite frustrated vacasa didn’t get back to us in a timely fashion. I received an apology email from vacasa this morning regarding their delay, stating ‘’’covid19 and ‘the weather’’’’ was reason for delayed response? Funny, that’s not a valid excuse in my opinion.

Really quiet neighborhood but close to both the beach and downtown. Lots of doggy friendly touches but no doggy smells! We just had such a great time. Didn't want to leave and will definitely rent again! One FYI, the third parking space is really narrow!

Loved that the house was so well stocked with dishes, glasses, silverware, pots & pans, cooking utensils, and so much more! I didn't expect that and brought tons of unneeded stuff!! ( I inadvertently left a cupboard of snack food and a plastic bag of forks, knives, and spoons! I guess my loss is someone else's gain, as I am not paying $25 to get it back! Do not book this house if you own a suv or truck. This parking spaces are for cars only. We parked as close as we could. A lot of construction during the day, workers coming in and out from the back side and front side was full of construction workers making impossible to get out. We also had a nasty text from vacasa , about moving our vehicles when it wasn’t even us. It was the construction workers. You are literally next door to houses. This is why I would never book this home again. And we book from vrbo all the time. But great house overall .
