The house was great and exactly as advertised. Very comfortable and Ted was very supportive.

This place has incredible views! The set-up is perfect for all to see the views. It also has everything you would need to stay for a week or MORE! This place was clean, but there were a few areas that needed some attention, BUT it was nothing to fuss about. We celebrated our family Thanksgiving here and we had all we needed.The owner greeted us and was super friendly and stated if we needed anything to reach out.

Our group of 12 (9 adults and 3 teens) loved the house! We were comfortable and felt like we had enough room for everyone. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed, while also having extras of things (tons of plates, bowls, coffee mugs) that really came in handy. The beds were comfortable and clean. The host was very responsive to any questions and check-in / check-out was a breeze. You can tell a lot of thought had gone into making sure guests were comfortable in the space, for example extension cords by each bedside table so guests had easy access to charge their phones.
And then of course there is the lake. The pictures don’t do it justice!! It was stunning!! It was so nice to sit and watch the water/hear the sound of waves throughout our stay. We hope to be back next year for our annual get together of friends/family!

We had a few problems at the beginning but Ted was most accommodating and took care of them. The home was perfect for us and enjoyed every minute. I do have a suggestion for him.. have a book with ALL information about how to run the appliances, nearest stores, gas station, restaurants, things of throat sort. We have been doing this for 20 years and this is the first place that did not have an Information Book.

A wonderful property on the shore of Lake Erie. The property is well appointed and had everything we were looking for in a rental. Plenty of room for everyone inside and out. The recent addition of a fire pit area was a welcomed surprise.

Beautiful home on the lake. Plenty of space for our family of 13 and our small dog. Kitchen was well stocked and we wanted for nothing. The kids had a great time at the beach on the property and in the evening the fire pit was a big hit. It is definitely a property that should not be overlooked.

Each year, a small group of our family friends and their families get together in order to spend some relaxing time together playing board games and eating large, family style meals. Of the many places we have stayed, this has been the favorite for both the adults and children!
From the relaxing evenings sitting outside by the fire-lit table, to watching the sun go down with the waves crashing agains the rocks, to the lovely beach within walking distance, to the large family table that we covered with food each meal in order to feed our small army - there was never a time that wasn’t perfect for us. The kids found the spacious home delightful while they utilized many fun places to hide during hide and seek, and it was convenient to have tv’s in each room for some individual quiet time when needed. One of the bedrooms has an arm chair which was perfect for the nursing mother, and three bathrooms really allowed for a potty to be accessible at all times (which is important with small children).
Truly, we were blown away by the cleanliness, the lovely beach decor, the comfortable beds, the abundance of household amenities, and the surprisingly large space that this property boasts. I don’t think the pictures do it justice - this is a ‘home’ that should be experienced firsthand! Thank you for a lovely getaway, and we hope to visit again in the future!

We often stay at house rentals and I must say this one was filled loaded for our needs for 14 people. I usually pack a lot of essentials but I didn’t need to for this house. It worked out great for everyone. The weather was bad and we even lost power but it made for great family time. I wouldn’t have asked for anything more!

Traveled in from South Dakota to do some fishing. We got in early and Ted was kind enough to let us check in a little early. The property was fantastic and exactly as described. Looking forward to staying again in the future.

We needed a place to be together as a big family from all over the country. Our aunt is getting tired and we wanted to be near her. So few properties allow "events", which disqualifies us regularly. 😆
So the Beachcomber was perfect for us. The kitchen, dining, and living room are open and wonderful. The beds are comfortable. Ted is responsive, and even put a Christmas tree up!
It was a wonderful experience.

We found the house beautiful, the beds ultra comfortable, and the kitchen wonderfully stocked. Eleven of us were able to comfortably eat at the dinner table. The views were amazing. We went in October so there was a steady cold breeze from the south, but we burned a truck load of wood, bundled up and had a great time. Ted, thank you for your hospitality.

There were 9 of us all over 70. We enjoyed watching ducks, geese, boats and a swan on the lake. Traveled to see things in the area. We were happy that the place to get ice cream was not far away. Nice neighborhood to walk in..

Family Vacation
The house exceeded our expectations. We had plenty of room with six bedrooms. Being able to look out at the lake views was wonderful. Our family enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this home for a vacation. Ted was a wonderful host and was quick to respond to our questions.

This 6 bedroom property was perfect for our blended family! The 18-22 year olds took over the upstairs and loved their privacy,which left the downstairs area for family gatherings. The property has a cozy front porch with seating, and the back patio has views of Lake Erie that are stunning! Plenty of seating inside and out for everyone, plus a fire table and a fire pit. I only wish we could have stayed longer! We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with our kids and grandkids, and this house was perfect for all of us! Cannot wait to go back!

Great Girls Trip!
We had a wonderful experience at Oak Harbor for a long weekend. Ted was easy and responsive to work with. The house was very well appointed with everything we needed and then some! We were 8 women on a "girls trip" and we had beds for everyone. The view and outdoor space is fantastic and plenty of seating for a big group. Thank you for a perfect weekend with friends!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house appeared to have been recently renovated. The kitchen was modern with everything you’d need to make sumptuous meals. The owner (Ted) has worked hard to keep this property a very nice place to stay. Ted’s house was a great place to relax.
