Good location, quiet and central. Well equipped and comfortable
Small step out of bathroom right in from of main steep stairs. Overpowering cleaning product and air freshener smells

Ideal holiday house for two couples in an excellent location very close to the town centre and open countryside. Well-equipped and nicely furnished with a pleasant bathroom with good shower. All very clean and well presented. The welcome pack of bread, milk, butter, biscuits, wine etc was a lovely touch and very warmly received. We would be very happy to stay here again.
Nothing we didn’t like but the small rear garden could be even nicer if it was smartened up a little with a new small patio and some pots etc - but certainly not a deal breaker.

Ideal location with easy walk into centre of Barney. Property has enclosed walled garden so ideal for small families with a dog. Kitchen and bathroom was really nice, main bedroom spacious and comfortable. Lovely groceries left for us on arrival. Athank you
Not much really as it is a lovely house. The internal doors need a lick of paint they are a bit grubby and living room furnuture needs replacing. Otherwise we would have awarded a perfect 10.

We visited Barnard Castle from US (Brooklyn NY) for a family wedding. We were not familiar with the area, but loved how the home is tucked away on a quiet street yet walking distance to center of town . Don't forget to look at the helpful binder and sit in the little garden. I really appreciated the treats on arrival as we had a very long train journey. The house is packed with charm and kept very clean. I only wish we could have stayed more than two nights.
It took us a bit to figure out the oven and definitely zoom in on the instructions but we are used to gas. Totally minor.
