Wertschätzer Hotel - Krumme Str

The location is definitely a plus. Very picturesque street with lots of nice restaurants nearby. Breakfast was surprisingly good! Most of the building is renovated and comfortable.

Mind you the parking they announce is not really there. You have to walk a bit. By the same token, and for anybody with difficulties getting around, inside the building there might be many flights of stairs involved. Be sure to check for that beforehand. Room typology is vast and you may not necessarily understand why you're getting the type of room you're getting. Finally, good luck if you don't speak German.

Eine Unterkunft welche ihrem Namen alle Ehre macht.

Sehr gute Lage, einfacher Check in. Zimmer war klein aber sehr sauber

Etwas beengt

The hotel is located in a great location to explore Detmold. The breakfast was great.

During my stay the temperature was over 30 degrees. Which made the room very hot. The only way to cool the room is by opening the windows. But since it is located on a busy street, I did not catch a lot of sleep, due to the people sitting on the terrace nearby and the city waking up again early in the morning. Also, parking (with a motorcycle) is quite cumbersome. I asked beforehand about public parking and got a reply that there is plenty of public parking nearby. But in reality you need to park quite far to get a decent rate.
