This property is located on a one-lane road in the historic center that does not appear to be used with great frequency, which was great for unloading luggage. After depositing our luggage in the apartment, we found a parking spot on the next street over, where we left our car for the next two days. We probably were lucky in this regard, but there is a parking garage nearby. The apartment is in a fantastic location for exploring Tomar. We were able to walk everywhere. Restaurants are nearby, and the view from the terrace was exceptional, especially at night when the fortress atop the mountain was lit up. We were very comfortable here. The description accurately described the property, which included being on the top floor without a lift. That's just something of which to be aware.

Decor a little basic

We stayed in 5 air BandBs and this was probably our favourite - and the others were really good too! Loved this because it had a terrace and also a balcony - so you could enjoy the amazing views - in the shade - at all times of the day. A really lovely apartment- nicely spec-ed - plus 2 air cons - it also had a washing machine too! But on top of all this , the thing we loved the most was Tomar itself - such a pretty little town - very relaxing.

Odd smell when you enter communal entrance hall - but don’t let this put you off
