This is THE WORST rental experience I’ve had in my life and my first experience with Vrbo. The place was not cleaned, washroom tub and kitchen was a mess (stove, cooker, sink, fridge) even though we were charged cleaning fee that was same as listing price for 3 days. The floors were a dangerous tripping hazard and glued to carpet with some places sticking up and there was a live roach in one of the rooms as soon as we got in. I got there with my young children around 9.30pm and had to leave around an hour and half later.We called the host to complain but got an answering service line. Vrbo could not reach the host as well yet they said there was nothing they could do. Had to check my family into a hotel around midnight. We sent photos and videos evidence and the host via email because they claimed that they did not get any from vrbo (this on Vrbo’s advice). Initially the host agreed to refund, then later the host refused to refund claiming nothing was wrong with the house. Vrbo said we are at the mercy of the host even when evidence was provided. Host claimed they had a cleaner who cleaned the place but that wasn’t true (if you check other reviews, this is a clear pattern) and host won’t do anything because they know VRBO will let them get away with it. If you don’t mind staying with young children in a dump or throwing money down the drain, then by all means go ahead. If you can afford incurring medical expenses, ignore this. This was a fraudulent listing &a nightmare

This property did indeed have a lot of beds, gross stained, horrible, smelling beds. The kitchen area was uncleaned. All surfaces had a gritty sticky feel to them. The floors were falling apart. The shower curtain in the bathroom had mold on it as well as the tubs surrounding area. All of the furniture was stained and had a pungent odor. I would definitely not recommend this property to anyone. tried to communicate with the owner they were supposed to contact me in regards to the property and its conditions, and they never did. But they definitely didn’t have a problem charging for the stay when I didn’t stay.

Clean, easy to get to.

Highlight of property: Awesome, private front patio that included a table to relax and a mature plant to cover viewing from outside onlookers! It was exactly as listed. No issues or problems. It is located on the west side of Cleveland, approx 10 min drive to Downtown or Lakewood. Priced right. It’s not a luxurious location, but sufficient for our friends weekend outage to get to our music venues and easily accessible by vehicle/Uber to other touristy areas. Minimalist but affordable, clean, and plenty of space for guests. Thanks!

Pretty easy to get to and great location for travelling to downtown and/or Edgewater park. The only downside is having to share the driveway with the residents of the other side of the duplex.

It was a good spot to crash for the Blink-182 concert. There was a full coffee pot when I got there and I don’t know how long it was sitting there. The house has a lot of history and room for sleeping. The neighbors were nice but the crime statistics of the area aren’t that great. The house is secured though and there were kids playing in the street, so we felt ok. Very comfy bunk beds.

I loved this place! Really clean and nice. Lots of room for everyone to sleep and was close to downtown! I would definitely recommend and 100% would stay again

This was my first time using VRBO & this was a really good first experience. Owner was quick with responses… place just as pictured & the only bad thing was there wasn’t hand Soap in the bathroom

We left and went to a hotel. Dirty linens and towels on the floor, muddy footprints in the tub, and no refund as of yet.

When I arrived there were dirty clothes, diapers, and garbage under beds and dressers. Under one dresser were two small, clear bags with white powder residue in them. In the broken desk drawer, my eleven year old found a plate with white powder residue and two small straws on it. In the back bedroom there was pet hair on the rug, play-doh and other debris under the bed. The upstairs guests were partying and being very loud well after 1 am. Property owners were not responsive. The floors are dirty, wood laminate over carpet and therefore uneven and coming up. The neighborhood was loud and sketchy. Despite all this, no refund from property owner. I still had to pay a cleaning fee on top of all that.

I was told to be able to get in at 1 when I got there is was not ready the lock of the door was missing. I was not able to stay there I am trying to get my money back it was not safe and it was nasty I had sent photos and emails no one is responding I need someone to help me.

The overall experience was nice, however saturday night the upstairs guest “hosted” a party that lasted until around 3am. No loud music but lots of shouting, running in and out of the house and banging on the doors that i assume connect to the hallway with the stairs. Kept my 2 year old up

Rules if the home are very clear. I didn’t feel bugged or watched. Renter reached out to check on me. Driveway accessible. Would stay again in the future.

My friends and I needed a close place to Ray's Indoor Mtb Park to crash after a day of riding. Location was only a few minutes away, check in was straightforward. The TV had Netflix, the book with suggestions for places to eat was appreciated as was the coffee next morning. I knocked off a few cleanliness stars for the sheets that were not all clean. As I saw in another review the bathroom door handle doesn't work very well inside the bathroom and should be addressed. Neighborhood is super quiet. Overall good stay.

House was very cute and had more than enough room for the two of us. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The neighborhood was awesome and quiet. House is located very close to anything you would want to see in Cleveland and surrounding areas. All in all it was a great place to stay. We will be returning here on our next stay in Cleveland.

Unfortunately this potential goes unfulfilled. The host was super nice and very quick to respond. We had some trouble with the automated VRBO emails not being sent for address, so that's not reflected in this review. More than a few items stood out in our stay. A lot of things in the kitchen were out of order, the floor seemed to be sagging quite a bit judging by the lack of square door frames, the refrigerator was on a 5 degree tilt or so, the cabinetry was in varying stages of disrepair. We ended up washing most of the dishes before using them because they did not appear clean. We didn't find any pepper in the shaker, no napkins or paper towels to be found, no soap in the bathroom (as was claimed in the listing) and the TV remote batteries were dead. We had to unplug the USB lights behind the TV because they were so bright into the bedroom. There were not enough blankets for the beds, and the bunk beds were so cheap they flexed badly when ever the person on either bunk moved. They are pretty hazardous. The flooring was thrown together haphazardly as well, it was tongue and groove laminate on top of carpet that someone chose not to remove so all of the slats are all coming apart and there's a pretty substantial floor height discrepancy at the bathroom door threshold. The shower curtain in the bathroom is pretty light duty but gets the job done, the bathroom just did not seem to be entirely clean which was really off putting. Finally the house is pretty poorly insulated and the smart thermostat kept turning the heat down on us so we ended up being pretty chilly most of the time as the thermostat temperature did not reflect the whole house temperature. Ultimately, for the price, this was a fine stay for us. I think this host has great potential for a really strong listing that could fetch more money but there are a lot of items that desperately need to be addressed before continuing to rent. Dennice is super nice and responsive. We didn't present her with the issues we had during our stay, as not to be a burden. But we really just needed a place to sleep so our expectations were low.

Plenty of seating for hanging out - older house with older bathroom and kitchen. Overall pleasant stay!

Worked well for us. Just needed a place to sleep. I was a little nervous with the neighborhood; however, we had no issues.

Bunk beds we're extremely unstable. Couldn't use the tops because no one felt comfortable sleeping up there. If you laid on the bottom it the whole bunk bed moved and made a sound. The host did answer all my messages in a timely matter. I laid on the sofa and woke up with bumps on my stomach. Living room and other sitting area furniture looked old and had stains. Kitchen and bathroom was clean. I end up leaving a few hours before check out.

House was clean and had plenty of bedding. Everything was laid out in a way that made sense. Mattresses are pretty soft and don't have box springs. I was comfortable, but someone else in my group was not.

The neighborhood was in the hood abandoned apartments on multiple blocks when arriving. The front and back door cover with spiders, webs, and nats .! The floor is unplastered wood on top of carpet , and you can still see the carpet.! Every single item in there was bought from a thrift store or more than likely taken off the side of the road. Holes in the roof and walls .! Bathroom I REFUSED to shower in, all beds and linens were dingy and some stained . I stayed 12 hours bc I got there so late I had no choice but to make a fort in the middle room until I could RUN out of there the next morning. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOU.!

I don’t usually leave bad reviews unless it’s glaringly bad. These pictures were altered. Nothing is white or bright in this place. It’s dark, dusty, and cold. The neighborhood is pretty bad, and the house is falling apart. I think the floor might be about to cave in one room. It’s so bad the refrigerator leans. Claw-foot tub seemed like a cool place to take a bath, but someone else’s hairball was already occupying the tub. In addition, the bathroom door doesn’t latch or close. The shower hooks are rusty (somehow?), and the shower curtain holder that is mounted to the ceiling is hanging on by one rusty screw. That desk pictured in one room is an old metal one, and the shelves were falling off. 2 stars because the place didn’t have bed bugs. Otherwise, no.

Steps away from the theaters and Gordon Square Arts District. Extremely comfortable beds and very nice property owner.

Not a ritzy neighborhood, but we didn't pay for one so expectations weren't for 5 star lodging. Not scary or anything, children were playing in the streets. Upstairs neighbor probably isn't into others being downstairs though.

This place was perfect for what we needed. The host was very accommodating and responsive. Clean, great location. Would stay again.

Great place to stay if you’re looking to pay a little less but still be close to downtown. Overall good stay, but the only downside was that the bathroom door didn’t close all the way and you could hear the guests upstairs running and walking around
