Beth was VERY nice. Great beds! Very clean. All good!

We booked a five day stay. The backyard and hot tub were lovely. The first morning we came across a large spider in the hallway. We dealt with the spider and assumed it was a ‘one off’.On the fourth evening of the stay, our daughter found a spider with a body approximately the size of a quarter.That evening we found 4 more large spiders. I contacted Beth with our concerns. She responded and brought down multiple spider traps for us to set out. When I talked to Beth, I asked if this was typical. She said she was surprised to find three spiders while cleaning prior to our arrival. We proceeded to place the spider traps around the unit. In the process, we found a trap on the floor underneath the headboard in the room our children were sleeping in. There were at least 5 large spiders in the trap. We sent Beth another text with our concerns and told her we were uncomfortable. Beth responded by saying ‘ the glue trap under the bed has been there for weeks so those spiders have been there a while.’ Beth also said that since it was summer and they live by a forest, spiders do enter the house. We asked if we could be compensated for the last night if we checked out early, but Beth denied this request. We checked out the next day and went to a hotel. We escalated this to VRBO. They tried to negotiate compensation with Beth, however she refused. After an investigation VRBO gave us a $50 credit this doesn’t even come close to the cost of a hotel.Our case is still under review by VRBO.

The property was well cared for. We didn’t have time for the jacuzzi but perhaps on our next visit. The master bed had signs of wear, but the home was well stocked with extras very comfortable for our family of 3. Thank you Beth for your hospitality.

Our stay here was full of charming suprises. There was a welcome sign, Notebook with restraunts and detailed instructions on how things worked. Also to our suprise, cupcakes eggs and everything we needed to get going the next morning. We loved it. There is also a lovely path along a wooded stream. It was most welcoming and charming. Beth went above and beyond for us! Had toys, a playpen and a highchair for our 1.5 year old. The suite was ectremely clean and had everything we could have needed and then some extras (mmm cupcakes)! Would highly recommend this suite for familiea and anyone travelling with a little kid. So much better than staying in a hotel room! The path out back brought some extra fun for the little one. Thank you so much Beth for your hospitality!!!!

Beautiful well equipped unit

My son and I stayed at this beautiful property for a short culinary weekend in Vancouver. The location was perfect for all of our activities! The home was wonderfully decorated and upon arrival we had fresh cookies, local milk and orange juice with personalized notes. Attention to detail was spectacular, made us feel very welcomed and important. Will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Vancouver! Thank you!

This rental was spectacular. The unit was extremely clean and modern with everything provided that you could need. The host always responded immediately and was very gracious in asking if there was anything I needed. The property is exactly what I expected from the pictures on line. It is exquisitely clean and comfortably minimal is decor. The host responded quickly to any questions I had. This was our first time using Vrbo and we couldn’t ask for a better experience. The suite was even better than expected, very clean and spacious with great amenities and a very nice location. Host was extremely thoughtful, kind, and accommodating. It's a basement suite but you don't hear the family above. Hot tub was a nice bonus after a day's exploring. Would definitely return.

This property was clean and well stocked. Property manager was great and it was near lots of restaurants etc so we could visit Vancouver during the day and eat near here at night. Would stay again for sure.

This was our 2nd time booking Beth's place and we would happily stay again. It is close to many local trails, malls and the port moody breweries. The hot tub makes it the perfect spot to relax and Beth makes the process so easy and ensures you have everything you need for the perfect getaway.

Beth and James provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere in their suite, for my cousin and I. Check in/out process was easy and Beth was happily available if we needed anything. We were provided with all the tools to make our stay as close to home as possible and we enjoyed spending time in the suite as much as we did touring Port Moody and Vancouver. The neighborhood and surrounding area is adorable and friendly, with a lot of restaurants, parks, and attractions nearby. Highly recommend this place for anyone staying in the area!!

We stayed for a week in this rental, very comfortable king bed with warm bed linens for spring. Very nice bath products. Always easy on street parking. We enjoyed the very clean hot tub. And had the very pleasant surprise of coffee, and eggs for breakfast.

Really enjoyed the tranquility of the property. Well kept and clean. Love the backyard and backing on to the ravine.
