We were very much looking forward to our stay. The proximity to the beach and to the boardwalk was great. I had hoped to save money by cooking (which is why we got the vrbo instead of staying at a hotel) but some of the baking pans were rusted and I had to clean the frying pan and sauce pans that we used. Also, the AC quit working. I contacted the manager right away and let her know, she was responsive but they said they couldn't get anyone out to the property until the next day. It was extremely hot in the house, opening windows did not help as it was humid and hot outside as well. I dared not cook anything in the house because it would only make things hotter. Everyone slept miserably and my two teenagers were super grouchy the next day, which dampened our overall stay. We tried to make the most of it and were thankful for the AC being fixed around 24 hours after we had reported it. I did ask that they consider compensating us for that as we booked this location because it had AC, which we are all accustomed to, no response was ever given regarding this. Also, when we were to check out, we stumbled upon the checkout directions which were not displayed openly. Had we not seen these, we probably would have been charged additional fees for not pulling the linens from the beds and taking the towels downstairs to put by the door.

The property was right across the street from the beach which was wonderful. We had plenty of room for our family of four and liked having a garage. I do feel like the property could improve on cleanliness and provide a few updates. Some of the sheets/bedding were stained and had holes in them. Also the ice maker and dryer did not seem to work properly.

My wife and I rented this property and were joined by our toddler and my mother. The location is FANTASTIC! We were pleased to learn the property is deceivingly close to the beach. The unit is well furnished and we particularly liked the great quality furniture on the balcony where we spent the majority of our time while we were at the house. A couple of small nits that would make the property all the more better. 1) It would be a great addition if the property had a ceiling fan on the balcony. The bugs/flies were plentiful and a breeze from a ceiling fan would've helped immensely. 2) The cutlery in the kitchen is beyond dull. Like, unable to cut a lime, dull. 3) It would have been helpful if the garage had a way to be opened from the outside. Currently, if you want to get into the garage you have to go up the steps to the front door, enter the home, then go down the interior stairs to the garage to access the door opener. 4) The ice maker in the freezer is either not working or it's non-operational. Alternatively, you are provided 4 or 5 ice trays which was nice, but it's a little tedious to fill, freeze, and repeat the entire stay. 5) The sink in the master bedroom drains very slowly and can use some attention 6) The toilet on the first floor has a leak - it intermittently sounds like it's draining Otherwise, the property is FANTASTIC!

The only downsize not enough lighting in the rooms. The bedroom with the twin beds none of the lights worked

The good: The place is only a couple hundred feet from the beach, the access is very close and you have some views of the ocean. The bad: The driveway is very small. In the garage there was a bunch of old patio furniture stacked up blocking the stairs and access to the garage (so we moved what we could and cleaned up the closet to put some of the furniture in there). The house, overall it was pretty clean, but in need of a deep cleaning and some upgrading, the closets were all messy and not very clean. The refrigerator was full of water (all of the shelves had standing water), assumed that the icemaker was leaking or someone left ice in there, we cleaned up the water only to realize the next morning that all the shelves were full of water again. All of the food was floating in nasty refrigerator water, had to throw away a couple leftover pizzas and some other food. I turned off the water to the ice maker. No luck the fridge continued to leak the entire week.We went through the notebook for guest to comment and write in and noticed that previous guest complained about this issue in 2022. The next major issue is the dryer, one of the drum rollers or some other part is completely shot on this dryer causing it to grind and thump at an ear piercing volume. None of the beds were comfortable, (all seem very cheap) noone really slept good. The upstairs toilet was leaking. Emailed the prop mngr, offered to come fix the toilet. Only allowed 1500 characters so, We do not recommend!

This property is absolutely perfect! From the location to the property itself, we couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. It was clean and towels were placed on the beds, it made you feel at home. The kitchen has everything you could possible need, even though we didn’t cook as there as so many great restaurants within walking distance. Thank you so much for a couple of magical days. We will be back very soon!

Location and peoperty were as expected from online listing. Liz was easy to work with. There were a few issues upon arrival with property cleanliness. There was an empty pasta box on the counter, some sheets and pillows were stained and the linen for the pullout sofa was not there.. There was also a need to clean the refrigerator and freezer. The tv in the livibg room needs to be properly secured as it is propped up on books. Other than these issues there were no problems with this property
