Since we travel a lot we get to stay all over. This was a fantastic experience. Booking was easy and excellent communication from the host. Check-in instructions were clear and made the process easy. Beautiful accommodations with lots of little details that made the stay feel thoughtful and very welcoming. Loved the location! On the other side of the road is Torch Lake and the Sandbar is right here. The backside is on the river side. We enjoyed our time and will definitely be back!!

Great experience from booking to check in to boat rental. Loved having the pontoon right at the house in the boat house. Great hosts!

Everything was great and the upper deck was wonderful. The street and traffic was a problem so you must be careful.

You'd be hard pressed to find better lodging for a Torch Lake vacation. Across the street is a little/park beach where you can get a nice view of the lake, play in the water or even walk out to the sandbar. Next to the property is a public launch you can use to launch the provided kayaks to explore in the back canal. As many others have mentioned, the top deck is fantastic for hanging out, grilling, eating, drinking or just enjoying the fire. The owners promised further upgrades in the interior but it was perfectly fine as is. You can tell they care about their property and the experience they are providing with the well-equipped kitchen and decorative touches including indoor plants. But the biggest draw for me was the included covered boat slip. It's in a very calm bay so you don't have to worry about the heavy waves that sometimes come to Torch Lake and there's no need to cover the boat. We rented both apartments for 6 people. 6 people in one would be very crowded. I'd probably only attempt that with young kids. We lucked out with the weather. Got a little rain/overcast for two days but had warm, sunny weather five days. Lots of memories were made.

We loved our stay at the Upper Deck. We had a larger group and rented both sides. The addition of the upper deck adds an amazing amount of space to hang out. The location is perfect - especially for those with a boat. The boat garage is 2 steps behind the cottage! We will definitely be coming back!

Awesome!!! Did I say awesome? Yes! Absolutely no complaints. Updated, clean, unique. The kitchen, bath, bedrooms and living area were updated, clean and exactly what we needed. The new upper deck is amazing. Its the talk of the town. Propane fire pits to use, covered bar, lots of room. Outdoor games available to use. Kayaks available to the guests. Boat dock comes with rental. Views are great. Location close to everything you need. The owners are amazing people. They really do care about their facilities and it is important to them you have a good time. Communication when needed was fast and clear. Will stay again and again if they let us :). Our family and my sisters family rented out the 2 duplexes. And I cannot express enough how much fun we had. The upstairs deck was pure perfection and such an added bonus. Having access right across the street to the lake was amazing. You can walk right out to the sandbar from it.. Location was perfect. And all around it was just the best place to stay. :)

My group had a wonderful time during the holiday week at this property. The house had everything you could want/need, not to mention the AWESOME rooftop hangout area they built. The location is also perfect, whether you have a boat or want to wonder out to the sandbar, everything is easy. The hosts were nice, inviting and very easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend.
