PROS: Price/location good. CONS: Master Bedroom drapes very sheer & don't cover the window. Light wakes you up or makes it harder to go to sleep!. Wind chimes very close/loud especially during all windy days/nights. That was ALL the time we were there! Ditto wakes you up or keeps you awake. Sheets didn't smell good. Couch appeared to be dirty (maybe vacuum it! Stained glass ???? in hall looked nice, but with a 24/7 light shining thru (again wakes you up or ...) Red light over Einstein cutout doesn't help if trying to set thermostat during the day or night. Less notes, just fix the issues! Chest of drawers with handle just hanging by one screw. Needs just a screw. Toilet tissue holders hanging from the ceiling? Horrible for short people! Lack of a freezer in the refrigerator. Suggest spending some of your profits for a refrigerator WITH a freezer. Very inconvenient. Check the batteries for the remote(s) in the kitchen/living room. Why would you leave/provide used toothpaste. Regardless of the intent (gross). Small hairdryer appears to be broken (FYI). We opened the doors from the master bedroom and your large dog came running towards my wife. I was close and grabbed her and pulled her inside! Regards J&M

This is a great spot to use as a launching pad to see the Orlando area. Also a great spot just to hang out and relax with a beautiful small lake. You can kayak or sit back on the dock and enjoy. if you’re looking for a real pool, this is not one. More of a cement pond. Owners live next-door, and are ready to help out with supplies or whatever you need. I’ll definitely stay there again.

Great property. Everything you needed and then some was already provided. Bed was comfortable and shower was amazing! Very reasonably priced. We will definitely be staying here again.

This is a very unique place that has the best shower ever! Right on a small lake with beautiful views. Apartment is Rooney and they really thought of everything you might need in your home away from home. Would only like a better second bed for the teenager.

Wonderfully peaceful, comfortable, private, relaxing spot. Excellent shower, very comfortable bed, great tv options and lovely patio area and yard leading to the very quiet Little Bear Lake made this a terrific stay. We ate breakfast on the patio every morning enjoying the birds and squirrels (amazingly, no mosquitoes). Only downside was the extremely limited kitchen - no stove, no freezer, very limited supplies and tiny sink meant we had to seriously limit our meal prep to what we could do with a refrigerator, small microwave, and electric tea kettle. Adding a couple of cereal bowls and large mugs would help. However, the positives made us happy to work around those limitations. Being within an easy drive of Winter Park (excellent museums, restaurants, and the Scenic Boat Tour) was a big plus, and we enjoyed the Lake Apopka Scenic Nature Drive nearby, too. We were even close enough to make a day trip over to the Lakeland area for the Fantasy of Flight museum and the Frank Lloyd Wright designed campus of Florida Southern College. We really loved staying here.

So sweet! Thanks to Kyle & Sheryl for sharing their back yard retreat with us. We came to visit my son who is studying in the area, and needed to be within driving distance of all the things he does, but don't love the normal Orlando area hub-bub. We desperately needed a hide-away. It was just the thing!

The accommodations were veer good. There was more space than I expected. The Hosts were very accommodating and easy to contact. Would love to stay again.

I wanted to take my granddaughter to the Springs and stay close by. This property foot the bill and we enjoyed our stay. Sherry and Kyle are very attentive without being bothersome.

Had an amazing stay. Loved that everything we might have a question I was spelt out when we entered the house. I never met them but you could tell they care about their guests. Being from NY it was a real treat to see little lizards and even a monkey in their tree. I tried calling him back down but he was content just throwing leaves at me hiding at the top. Really awesome experience Florida is wild and this house was perfect.

A friend and I stayed at Kyle and Sherry's this past weekend. We were in the area to kayak the Wekiwa and to visit Winter Park and Orlando. The apartment is so spacious and comfortable. Wifi is excellent. The dock on the lake, the swings under the trees and the therapy pool were such a nice bonus. We had our coffee and wine on the private outdoor terrace off of the bedroom overlooking the lake. What heaven. All kinds of beautiful Florida birds and the quiet of nature. A very short drive to Maitland to grab the Florida Sunrail train which only runs Mon-Fri, but was a real treat for getting around and leaving the keys behind. Would definitely stay there again. They keep a well-stocked fridge with wine and goodies, coffee, tea and a cooler of ice when requested. The shower pressure is amazeballs.Bed and linens super comfy for a good night's sleep. Terrific AC. Clean and spotless.

We stayed here while visiting Disney World. Location was great neighborhood was quiet. We will put this property at the top of our list when we return to Orlando area for any reason. This would be the perfect place for a couples getaway.

Being from Chicago, we loved the atmosphere of this property. My husband has a bad back, so he really appreciated the therapeutic shower. 😊

Came in town to tour the Full Sail campus this property was perfect and located in a great part of town! The lake view was beautiful!

Property was exactly like it was portrayed online. Beautiful setting with dock facing sunset. My husband was able to fish every day. We sat on dock every day and our hosts joined us several afternoons. The shower was amazing. Should we go back to that area, we would definitely stay there again.

Suite was very clean and well furnished. Owner was kind enough to stock kitchen with refreshments and snacks. Bathroom had extra toiletries. Location is great, just 15 minutes from downtown Orlando. Owner lives on site but was respectful of our space and asked before doing yard work. Good experience overall.

We had a great time including meeting the owners sitting on their dock ! Great location to hub out of with plenty places close by for entertainment & dinning !! The only very small issue was we only had a refrigerator with no freezer making it tough to have ice for beverages but there was a cooler so we bought a few bags of ice to work around it !! Other than that we really enjoyed our stay !

The only small negative issues was the refrigerator had no freezer!! Small issue we just missed having ice with our beverages !! But there was a cooler and we bought a bag of ice to work around the issue!!

The suite was super clean and cozy, along with a beautiful pool and view/access to the lake. Kyle was available anytime I had questions. Also very respectful of our privacy. Overall a very good experience
