Arnold is lovely and the house was perfect. The 3 levels, decks, and comfort inside and outside makes for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Thank you!!!

Great house, there were 8 of us a few couples a few singles. We all fit very comfortably in this house. Had a ton of fun and a lot of laughs. The house itself is very nice. Beds are comfortable. Lots of TVs throughout the house. Pool table, ping pong video games. The only drawback is you have to go through one bedroom to get to another. Two of the bedrooms didn’t have closets. Other than that the house was fantastic. It was easy to get a hold of the owner. One of the couples had a small convertible car they were worried about the wildlife getting into the car. The owner let us park the car in the garage. The house was very well stocked. Great house, I highly recommend.

The house is huge, very clean, with plenty of outdoor furniture. We had a fantastic time there.

The house was beautiful and fully stocked kitchen. It was so nice to have all the extra trays with flowers on all the beds and the complimentary bottle of red wine. The house was perfect for our 3 families. I was concerned with the busy road the house is on with kids.

Our extended family enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The house itself was clean and spacious and close to everything we wanted to do in Arnold. We really enjoyed using the hot tub and relaxing on the three separate decks. The three floors of the house were convenient for our separate families to have our own space. However, the quirky downstairs room that can only be accessed by going through the other bedroom could be a problem for other groups. We were, however, very disappointed in the lack of communication from the host. We had a VERY uncomfortable first night, due to a very uneven cooling system with a bizarre setting. I sent multiple texts, calls, and even messages through the VRBO app trying to ask for help from the host, with no response until the next day. Apparently the three separate AC thermostats on the three floors need to be set to the same temperature in order to work (a recent change that was not communicated in any way, and also makes no sense.) Other small inconveniences were that the TV in the upper master bedroom didn’t work and there were no hand towels in any of the bathrooms in the whole house, which was just weird. We did appreciate the toiletries supplied, the Keurig pods available, and the yummy Frog Wine that was left for us. For the price, it wasn’t a bad stay, but could definitely be improved with better communication, more towels, and black out shades in the upstairs room where the sun hits you in the face the moment it rises in the morning.

Good communication with owner. Good 4 car parking, comfortable sleeping space in 5 rooms for 12 people, but had to cross one bedroom to access downstairs bathroom. Ice maker still out since previous month review, hot tub area very dusty and had to clean. otherwise had a good stay.

Great cabin with plenty of amenities. This is the second time we have rented the Awan. Good communication from the owner prior to our stay, during our stay and after our stay. Would recommend to families or larger groups that need multiple sleeping spaces. Plenty of places on the decks to enjoy the sunshine and relax.

This place was just as expected. Check in was a breeze and communication was great! It was us and another family and the layout of the house was perfect for us to all be together and yet have our own family spaces. Location to the store, lake and all other things was great! Thank you!

Arnold is a lovely town for a summer trip. Our gaggle adults and kids enjoyed kayaking on White Pines lake, and hiking in Big Trees. This house was a great home base, especially the expansive deck for morning visits over coffee. The bunk bed room easily held four kids, but could have fit two more if we’d needed it. The fact that on the bottom floor you had to walk through one room to get to the next was a little weird, but we made it work. All in all I’d recommend this house!

Over all good, heating/cooling system us uneven. Ice maker didnt work we just bought ice miner issue. Great to be abke to oark at street level with 4 spaces fir all our cars.

This property was perfect for our family and friends. There was so much room for everyone to enjoy and have there own space. The views were amazing! The hosts were so quick to answer any questions and were so accommodating. We would recommend this property to anyone especially a large group. Thanks for a wonderful visit 😊

Everything was great. The house was well stocked, clean and everything was as expected. The kitchen was nice and the Keurig with cups and everything else needed for coffee was a nice bonus. The only drawback is that the upper bedroom is badly in need of blackout drapes. The existing drapes barely block out the morning sun.

Worked out great for our 3-night stay. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Was great cooking in the kitchen that all the necessities. Easy to find location - Arnold is a nice little mountain town - has a full-size supermarket. Overall great stay.

Perfect snow trip! The house had everything we needed and we all had the best time playing in the snow out front. Super close to grocery store and kitchen has plenty of cooking/baking supplies.

Great snow trip with family! Such a nice cozy spot to kick back and watch the weather. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. The family enjoyed the space and so did the pups.

This is our second stay here and we are still impressed with the property and the communication with the owners. They have everything you need to make it easy and comfortable to take in the scenery and relax. We will absolutely love to stay here again in the future.

The property was well kept and had plenty of activities for the families to partake. What stood out was their attention to detail in supplying extra of all of the things one may need during their stay. Things i dont normally see in a rental were the pressure cooker and a drawer full if napkins just in case we ran out. The check in/check out processes were simple. I would definitely stay here again.

My family has been renting houses for our annual winter trip for many years. This home is the nicest and most well equipped that we have ever stayed in. It was sparkling clean and the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of linens, blankets, towels, etc… The host provided coffee and a bottle of wine and there was a spice cabinet with the basics. We did some cooking and everything that we needed was there. I especially enjoyed the covered deck downstairs. I was able to sit on a comfortable outdoor couch in front of a fire pit and watch my grandchildren play in the snow. PG&E had a power outage shortly after we arrived. When i message the owner he responded immediately and offered to drive up and start the generator for us. He also drove up 2 days before our stay to make sure the driveway and stairs were clear of snow. Little touches like bed trays set up ion each master bed made me feel like a special guest. I would definitely stay again.

Everything was great except it was not clear that the two rooms on the bottom floor are connected and that you have to go through one room to get to the other room. This was uncomfortable for the group we had and could not use that room. The only other way out of the room was outside in the snow. The owner was excellent and was very good at communicating! The house had a lot of towels and the kitchen was well stocked!

The cabin was very relaxing and had plenty of space! We enjoyed our stay! One of the best stocked homes we’ve stayed in, they provided paper towels, coffee pods, creamers, individual butters, napkins, plastic wrap, foil, sponges, things that you always need which is great! Host was responsive and helped us fix the hot tub when my daughter accidentally put it in sleep mode (do not push two buttons at once) lol Overall it was a great getaway!

This was a great location and great property. The owner was very kind and the property had all the amenities we needed. I loved that there were a lot of windows that faced the East so we could see the sunrise.

This was the most awful experience we have ever had in a vrbo! The homeowners watched us on the cameras the entire stay! They would talk to us through the cameras as well. They watched the cameras pointing at the hot tub when we were in it and complete harassed us the entire time. They text accusing us of “ ordering a movie on Netflix” after I informed them that we aren’t using Netflix and you don’t order movies on their but there is a way to subscribe, they apologized and said it was spam mail. The owner constantly text and talked through their cameras to us throughout our stay. They were talking to our minor children that were in the detached garage where the so called “game room”” was. We were uncomfortable and not able to use that room or the hot tub. We also forgot a tv that my son brought for his gaming system (because we did not want to connect anything to someone else’s property) unfortunately the tv cracked in transit. We bought a new one from Walmart and forgot to take the old one with us. The owner text upset about that so we apologized and offered to pay to have it removed. The next thing I notice is that the owner puts in a claim stating it was their tv and we broke it and they wanted $299 for it. I immediately called and told them that I was reporting them for fraud. He also said we broke his sleds and out them on the claim as well. The sleds were cracked before we ever touched them. He kept texting my personal number even days after the stay. Informed him I would be putting in a claim with vrbo and would never stay at his location again and to please remove the claim which he did not and to stop harassing us. Please beware before renting this place!

Great location with beautiful views! House was stocked well with dishes for large groups. Definitely needs more kitchen towels, however. Keurig coffee provided with cream/sugar was awesome bonus. Everything was very clean and nicely staged. We thought the hot tub would be awesome, but it wasn't. It's old and needed a good cleaning (cloudy water+ floaters) ... and it's on the lowest level, under the deck, with a lid that's not easy to maneuver. Every house has it's quirks, but would definitely recommend this one to others!

We had a delightful stay in this wonderful home. Early November snow make it particularly magical as the area is gorgeous! The house is darling and very well appointed. Very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, terrific hot tub, close proximity to “town.” Pet friendly and very clean. Wonderful owners who very very communicative and friendly. Highly recommended!
