The house is private and offers lovely open views. It is a very old but well-preserved adobe house with well-functioning double windows, a hot and strong shower, a washer, a dryer, and other facilities. Artwork is everywhere, and the owner provides very useful information on Taos attractions and inspiring reading about the property's history. We enjoyed cooking and spending evenings in the Birdhouse after skiing in the nearby Taos Ski Valley. Everything was there: utensils, dishes, bakeware and cookware, spices, recipe books... We used heaters during cold nights - all worked well. Beds are comfy and everything was sparkling clean. TV and table games were an additional bonus.

A recycling bin and service would be nice (even if the city of Taos is not providing the service), especially if a recycling facility is nearby. Also, just so you know, you will need to wash your dishes by hand, which is OK with us.

Thé house is very pretty and the location is great !

I had a mouse in my bedroom for a couple of nights which made me have to sleep on the couch and when I contacted management about it they sent a guy who left the poison on the kitchen counter for me to set my own trap ! The mouse ate the poison the following night and it was horrible hearing it in the trap . We also did not have hot water for three days . I have not received my reimbursement yet .

The home was adorable and comfortable.

After reading instructions and watching a video, I still wasn't able to light the gas fireplace. As suspected, the off-site Vacasa staff couldn't address the problem and asked redundant questions. Also, there is ample natural light during the day to read in the living room, but at night, the room definitely lacks lights near the seating areas.

The facility was great and the proximity to downtown was fantastic. Nice place that we will try to book on a return trip to Toas.

The TV did not work but we were able to use the DVD player. The code to the door was difficult, we had to try the code two or three times before it opened.

Coffee was available. The kitchen was well equipped except that there was no dishwasher. The rooms were very clean. Parking space was available.

The queen bed was very uncomfortable- needs to be changed. The shower did not have warm water. We were unable to open the garage though I called Vacasa several times. It was really important for us since it started raining and snowing.

The location was excellent for visiting all that Taos has to offer. The size and layout of the rental fit our needs perfectly. Having the facilities of a house vs. an apartment or hotel met our needs exactly.

There was a problem when we arrived but it was taken care of as soon as possible by the rental management. The inconvenience was made up for by their attention and quick response. I would recommend this rental to anyone who wants the privacy and convenience of a house over just a room.

it was a little warm in the house, but that was to be expected given the heat and lack of AC.

Spectacular place, no noises, very relaxing atmosphere, the house was fully equipped.

If you live surrounded by nature you will have a spider here and there but nothing terribly... even when the house was VERY CLEAN
