The ice machine is always a plus as well. The ocean views are second to none in the area. We will be back again soon

Our condo was so nice. It has been renovated and was just beautiful. It felt like we were at home. The condo had everything you need to make meals, so there is no need to bring any kitchen related items, it’s all there. The view was spectacular. It was nice to be ocean side. I have stayed at Gulfgate before and the last time I was in Destin, I was not able to book at Gulfgate because there wasn’t anything available. I stayed somewhere else and was so disappointed. I will always stay at Gulfgate from now on. I have already booked for fall. You will not be disappointed. It’s close to shopping and lots of great restaurants. They have a nice pool, but they will set up beach chairs and umbrellas and the beach is not crowded like some beaches. I cannot say enough about what a great place this is. Book now, you will not be disappointed.

The management emailed the change but the message was buried after the travel insurance advertisement so it was missed until a subsequent billing email was sent. Upon calling the office I was advised of the change but wasn’t satisfied with the new unit location. I requested another and that was fulfilled but not until I was reminded that it is not typical to be moved but it does happen and is in the rental agreement. I guess a call would have been appreciated and some choice be given for the alternative condo. It could have been handled better. This doesn’t deter us from returning just awareness that guests can be moved from the condo they booked without notice or choice!

We enjoyed unit 402. Plenty of seating. The unit is updated and clean. Plenty of glassware ect. My one suggestion is to start a recycling program at Gulfgate. We use more single use plastic when traveling for convenience, I hate throwing the plastic bottles in the trash. A recycle bin would be great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Destin Gulgate in unit #402. The unit was modern, clean, comfortable and roomy. The television channels were limited however, and confusing as was operation of the tv in general. The staff was friendly and we felt very safe during our entire stay. We enjoyed our visit, but we’ve stayed in nicer units at gulfgate. Unit 402 was not in top condition. The coffee table was coming apart, the front screen door was torn and broken, the TV had no instructions and was very difficult to operate, and the microwave was impossible to operate. The unit was clean, and we like The location. The staff was very helpful and the registration process was simple and quick.

We have stayed in several units at the property (all have been great!) and 402 has made it to our favorites list. We will be back again in a few months! Emily was very helpful when we checked in, and Robby provided great beach service. Both were friendly and accommodating, which we appreciated very much. Looking forward to our next stay! We usually stay at Destin Gulfgate when vacationing in Destin. The condos have all the luxuries of home and are very clean. We usually try to stay in a condo that includes inside/garage parking. Nice zero-entry pool. There is also a private beach area with a 2-person daily beach set-up (chairs/umbrella) included with the condo rental. Good location, there is a traffic light to help get in and out of the main thoroughfare.
