This condo was gorgeous, the pictures did not do the view from the balcony justice, it was an absolutely amazing view. The condo was spotless upon entering and everything was as expected. The Gulfgate staff were very friendly and always said hi when you passed them. We had a very relaxing and fun girls trip thanks to this place. We will definitely be back!!!

Since our last stay a few months before, Gulfgate upgraded to quality bed linens, so soft and comfortable. We walked down the beach and saw several other buildings with beaches that were packed with people. This is not the building for college Spring Break - this is the building for couples and small families.We searched through a number of listings in and around Destin, few buildings have units with balconies as expansive as Destin Gulfgate. Most buildings have narrow balconies facing out at a diagonal and overlooking other buildings. This entire building has nice wide private balconies that face the Gulf and overlook nothing but sand and sea - no roads, no buildings - just Destin sand and water.We didn’t use the pool, fitness room, or the event room, but I’d say these amenities would make this a great location for a family reunion. It was also nice having building staff on site. This was our first time staying at a staffed building. Usually you have to work with owners’ rental agent to solve even minor issues. Destin Gulfgate has dedicated staff to get you registered and to take care of maintenance and housekeeping. This usually isn’t an issue, but if you ever need that type of service, you’ll get better and quicker solutions with the dedicated staff than you will at other buildings where there is no dedicated staff.Being in the middle of Destin isn’t as quiet and laid back as other beaches in the area, but it’s perfect for families looking for some activities and attractions. That said, you can have a nice quiet vacation if you prefer at Destin Gulfgate. We spent our days on the beach and on the balcony. Unfortunately we had several foggy days but that is expected in February. Later in March the sun comes back and the gulf view and white sand beaches are breathtaking.

This year only 2 couples so we needed 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. We chose Destin Gulfgate. We were apprehensive about it at first until we got there and all of that disappeared. Beautiful condo, great help at the front desk, a great wide beach and close to all the good food we wanted. Its the most restful week I get all year long and next year we will be back to "roost" at the Gulfgate 1103. Thank you so much for sharing your piece of heaven on earth with us!

We loved the top floor because the ceilings are higher as are the sliding glass doors. We were so excited to get to stay in this unit for a second time this past August. It's fabulous!
