We just finished spending a week at The Hideaway, and we cannot wait to return! The pictures of this place do not do it justice! The new reno's inside and out, make this private little hideaway a luxury retreat! The cottage has everything you need and then some! From kitchen items, inside and outside games, you name it they will have it. The location is perfect! It is a private little section of the woods yet a quick drive to anything you need. Beaches, restaurants, parks, groceries etc. If you have the windows open you will love napping or falling asleep to the sound of the waves in any of the rooms and bedrooms The views of the lake and sunsets will blow your mind from the top of the hill you are on. Check-in and check-out were a breeze! Jennifer is super quick to respond to any questions and concerns and will make sure you have everything you need. Don't hesitate and book the Hideaway now!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights with our two dogs as a small baby moon and it was everything we were looking for. Very relaxing vibes, very clean and great location. Would definitely come back

A great winter destination. The cottage had everything we needed for a delightful stay. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with high quality dishes and cookware. The gas fireplace was delightful. I would highly recommend this rental.

Stunning views make you feel like you are in a painting. Warm and welcoming cozy cottage experience with very friendly hosts. The hosts were really great in making sure that our stay was a memorable one. Will definitely like to visit again soon

Relaxing, quiet, under the stars

A great place to get away from it all, relax and listen to the waves! The owner is very attentive and promptly replies should you have any questions.

A beautiful, clean and well equipped cottage! The rooms are well appointed and beds are comfortable. The living room and kitchen is spacious, just as shown in the photos. Loved the Gas Stove! The supply of crockery, cutlery, bowls, pots pans are sufficient. The 2 bathrooms are quite spacious, with private toilet room and there is also a covered outdoor shower. The BBQ was brand new. The lake views are absolutely gorgeous. The cottage is so private, there are no other homes to be seen on either side. Its a perfect place for rest and relaxation. Wish there could be stairs built to provide access to the lake, that would make the experience really complete. Jennifer and Lea were wonderful - they took such great care of us, and ensured all our questions were answered. They very promptly responded to couple of service calls and fixed things right away. I will definitely return!

It was the perfect family vacation! The Hideaway is tucked privately away in the trees, overlooking beautiful Lake Huron. Everyday was a different experience with the ever changing water and waves, but was balanced with relaxation and activity. The deck was perfect for morning coffee and yoga, and to watch sunsets at night - the beach was so private and breathtaking - my boys felt like they were at the ocean! Given there is no stair access on the property to the beach, if you want to go down to the beach from the property you do have to have good mobility - otherwise there is a public access to the north of the cottage - either way the trek to the beach is highly recommended!!!! Jennifer was a pleasure to communicate with and left welcoming treats for the whole family including Finn!

Arrived and found the cottage clean and ready to go. Beautiful floors and comfortable couches. TV has all the apps you need like Netflix, Prime Video and the major news networks. Internet was solid and responsive. Could not find oven mitts and a milk bag container but Jennifer from Cottage Stays got these items to us the next day! The shower downstairs was tiled and huge as was the upstairs shower. Fans on the main floor and in the master bedroom with entrance to the balcony outside. This cottage has no gas barbecue despite being on natural gas. No washer or dryer so hanging the wet clothes on the balcony was in order to air dry. Access to the beach is a few cottages down and has many steps down to the beach, quite a climb back up, but the beach and the water was terrific, bring water shoes. Residents when you see them are friendly. Had a great time overall. Lovely, modern open space.

We loved it. We were 3 adults looking for a quiet place to listen to the waves and read. We couldn’t have found a better place! It was very private. There is no one nearby. The walk down to the beach is not on the property but you can reach the beach in front of the property through a public path. You have to climb over a few obstacles though so you need to have good mobility. The cottage was spotless and it was so nice to receive fresh flowers and a little box of cookies...so welcoming. The property and especially the view is unbelievably beautiful. There are so many windows and a nice balcony for coffee in the morning and views of Lake Huron. Lake Huron is very beautiful and wild. Every day the waves and sky provided a new experience. The town of Bayfield was close by. We went there for dinner and a few lunches and walked around. We loved the great food and walked there for a few hours. This was the perfect get together with my partner and I and my sister. After a long year of isolation (we are all vaccinated now) it was truly the best therapy we could have hoped for.

This was a nice quiet property with a stunning view. We had a wonderful stay of just pure family time. A great break from the crazy year we all just had. Will come back in the summer for sure - nice sandy beach area, kids had a blast!

The property is ideally oriented. The 3 sided windowed main room is a treat. The feeling of being in a treehouse and looking over the lake is ideal.Light filled and airy, Bathrooms and kitchen are well equipped.My only note would be the beds would benefit from the addition of a foam topper.I took lots of beautiful photos, would be happy to share.

A nice open space upstairs that seats many with kitchen and dining room all in one huge room.The kitchen is also very well equipped. The cottage also has a very nice decks to enjoy the view. With Bayfield a short drive away there is lots to see and do in the area.It's really hard to find anything not to like. Lastly Jennifer was wonderful to work with.

Very peaceful location surrounded by trees with a beautiful view of Lake Huron. We were lulled to sleep by the sound of the water. Spacious cottage with lots of wonderful features. My family enjoyed a memorable week at the cottage and in the Bluewater community.
