Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Georgetown Lake

The cleanliness of the room was spectacular. Stayed at a Microtel in Denver three days later and realized how wonderful your breakfast was. The breakfast in Denver was dismal at best.

Nothing. All was great!

Beautiful facility. Rooms are huge, clean, and comfortable. Nice setup too. Location is good. Close enough to town and the highway but still quiet.

One of the male clerks on the second day was more interested in his earbud versus helping clients. He didn't understand anything until he took the earbud out of his ear. Earbuds should not be allowed.

Location was good w exception of noise from I70. Beautiful Georgetown Lake is next to hotel, so we walked around it daily. Cabin Creek Brewery next door was excellent, we took several meals there. Coffee was always good & plentiful, nice to have it & hot beverages available 24/7. Facility was very clean, staff was constantly cleaning. Beds were very comfortable. AC worked well. Step in shower was good. TV worked well.

Breakfast was always crowded, not enough seating. It was mostly a cold breakfast, tiny pancake machine was cute but always a wait for it, and for the microwave. Rooms were small. No luggage racks, so we had to store our suitcases on the window seat & on the ski cabinet. Lighting was weird. Motion activated lighting on one wall was unpredictable, on/off unexpectedly. Plugs for chargers were all crammed onto the bedside table which was not convenient. Our "lake side" room actually overlooked the back side of Cabin Creek Brewery, but if we didn't look down, we had a great view of mountains & lake to the left. IF we return to Georgetown, we would probably seek out an air bnb, unless we were only staying for a night or 2 at the most. Microtel is fine for a short, 1-2 day stay, but longer than that, not so much.
