My wife and I visited for the first time just to stay for a few hours. I was a bit worried about what the condition would be like, but that was completely unnecessary. The place was spotless, boasting modern vibes and cleanliness on par with a 4-star hotel. The staff were also super friendly, and having a bistro and bar downstairs makes it great for a quick bite. If you're looking for a place in the Sydney suburbs to take a break for a few hours without staying overnight, I highly recommend this spot. We will definitely be back!
Not at all.

The room was freshly renovated with new carpet. It looked very up market with the timber bed head.
There wasn’t anything to dislike.

We were upgraded to use the connected rooms.
The rooms were clean.
Access to accommodation is separate from the pub.
For our own purposes for seven days, Doonside Hotel was perfect
Unsafe location?
