Great location, right in the centre of the city. You can walk to the waterfront bars and to the night markets easily. Room is clean and comfortable.

Not something I didn't like but just to flag to people that you go up a couple flights of stairs to get to this property so if you have mobility issues it will be difficult.

Good location. We could walk to lots of places. Comfortable bed. Quiet.

It would have been useful to have a microwave.

I had a very comfortable stay at AJ residence. In fact at the end of my trip I had another night in KK and decided to stay here again. The entrance to the hotel is very unassuming but after you enter the premises it is completely different. The rooms are warm, welcoming and modern. The staff are fantastic. They were in communication with me from before I even checked in and were ready to help me check in when I arrived, even having the air conditioner turned on in the room in preparation. The room itself has everything you need, from a range of toiletries, to different charging cables and even a diffuser for the hairdryer! The location is also fantastic - 10 min from the airport, loads of good restaurants within walking distance.

Everything was great. I'd simply like to point out that this accommodation is perfect for solo travellers and couples might find it a bit cramped depending on the type of room you get. There might also be some noise from the street or the neighbours but they provide earplugs so it was fine.

Clean room which did the job, good location (walking distance to the waterfront), good shower pressure and hot

Very small room and thin walls (like a caravan). There were metal hangers knocking off the wall and each other constantly which stopped us from sleeping. The hosts cared about this and said they had ordered an alternative hanger for future. There were also a lot of steps to climb up to get to the property which would be difficult with luggage. They offered to help us but it was a small lady who came and I felt bad getting her to carry 25kg huge case up the stairs.
