Beautiful home in a wooded area has everything you would want! The location is perfect and having a beautiful boat available to rent is ideal. The kitchen feels like home - it has everything you would need and more. Great porch facing the lake to catch the breeze. The king bed is comfy and is dressed with nice linens. The host was very responsive and it was a joy meeting her! We will be staying again. Don’t miss this one!

We had a great time on our lake vacation. This is the second time we have rented a home from this owner this summer and this house was as fabulous as the other house.

The house was wonderful. Plenty of room for everyone. Everyone enjoyed swimming and fishing. My husband is recovering from a heart attack and stroke and it was so good to see him fishing with his grandsons. He really enjoyed himself.

Great house, as pictured and described, spotless and homey. Very well appointed down to q-tips and laundry detergent, even spices/ziplocks/foil/trash bags, as well as a bag of popcorn and a couple of waters. Beds comfy. AC works great. Owners respond quickly and easy to work with, even purchased a griddle after we asked if one available. We rented boat and lake toys which were all in good working order, and made this rental top of our list. Only con, which wasn’t an issue at all for us, was the porch and deck in the process of being refinished. This did not affect any part of our trip. Aesthetic only. This should not be an issue for anyone. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend. Will stay here again!

Our little family have dealt with a lot over the last several months. After our little boy entered the world too early and we added an extended NICU stay to our stress load, I declared that we needed a BREAK even if just for a few days when he got home. I started hunting around for something secluded where we could be left alone, still have a good time, but keep our tiny little guy safe all at the same time. I stumbled upon this property and decided we would give it a shot. We have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, and I have to say that this was by far the cleanest home we've ever rented across the board. I was shocked when I entered room after room and each was clean and beautifully decorated. The owners thought of every little thing you'd need from kitchenware, a martini and wine area, Keurig, right down to a flat iron and make up wipes. My two year old daughter even discovered a cabinet of toys and games (as she proudly carried a tub of legos across the room one day LOL). We spent our weekend fishing, enjoying the fire pit in the evenings, spending time together as a family, and of course relaxing! Our lab joined our vacation and enjoyed running around the yard, collecting sticks, and playing on the deck. I would definitely recommend this rental for families as it was very child proof (we have a 6yo, 2yo, and a newborn). The deck had gates at each stairway so we were able to confine the kids and dog to the deck and relax on the swing or in the chairs, while they ran around like crazy people and burned off some energy. :) If you're looking for a place to rent that is private and beautiful any time of the year, this is the one. My only suggestion would be to grab groceries on your way to the house, otherwise you'll be leaving again and driving back out to the local store (though it wasn't THAT far). If you want a meal out, I would also recommend the little restaurant right down the road from the house called "Scallywags". We ordered dinner to go from them two nights and everything was excellent. It's definitely within walking distance! Thank you for the excellent little getaway that we all needed so badly. We'll definitely be back!

Our stay was sooo nice with a perfect single floor plan arrangement that made interaction with our family members just what we wanted it to be, everyone together!! The house was so beautifully done, fitting for a lake vacation get away. The beds were comfortable & the place was clean, which isn’t the case in some properties we have rented in the past. The owner could not have been more helpful or friendly, making you instantly comfortable in her home, while encouraging you to feel free to enjoy all the amenities they offered. Life doesn't get any better than watching your crew fish off the dock and swim from the back porch, which is right on the water. From a fully stocked kitchen, to toiletries in every room, beach towels for lake swimming and floats to spend a lazy day relaxing. This is our second stay and are looking forward to our third.

Terra is an awesome host, she replied quickly, and is very nice . The house inside was very clean , the AC worked perfectly, kept the whole house the right temp for us. Each bathroom was well stocked with lots of towels , and beach towels for the lake, lots of floats , to play on in the water, noodles, the splash pad! There's so much to do here! We weren't bored even when it rained , there's lots of board games to play , also corn hole and Big block Jenga! Which was my kids favorite. And the early morning hours sitting out on the top deck was my favorite time and place, to drink my coffee and watch everything beginning to stir , Canadian geese floating by the dock and some type of water bird diving under for fish, it was so peaceful and relaxing. It was good fishing off the dock to, my husband caught a few good sized cat fish and rock bass, they all caught lots of those white striped bass, we all had a great time here . I would definitely recommend Terra's Red sky lake house!!

The covered porch was an ideal place to soak in the serenity of the water and enjoy a cold beverage. Terra was wonderful to work with and was always available for questions. We have utilized vacation rental homes for years and Red Sky was the cleanest and most well stocked by far. The towels are of excellent quality and quantity. The bed linens are very comfortable and not worn. The kitchen is well stocked and very functional. While the house is not huge by any means, it is very comfortable and easily accommodates eight guests. We had nine for a brief period of time, but there is adequate space to squeeze in the additional teen or two. The splash pad, floats, boat, and raft for pulling behind the boat were a big hit with the kids as were the many board games. Much to the teens relief, there was also excellent WiFi. The main house is on ground level along with the covered front porch; a big plus for those of us with bad knees. There is also plenty of dock space, lake access for swimming, and a fire pit. There is ample seating for the top and lower decks. As a home improvement fan, I can say Terra holds her own as a professional “No Demo Reno” expert. While it is an older home, it has been redone beautifully in relaxing tones that enhances the feeling of vacationing on the lake. The only less than ideal aspect of the house is the limited dining space inside. But Terra and Scott have utilized the space available as much as possible and there is a very large coffee table that functions well as an overfow eating area, especially for those comfortable sitting criss cross applesauce. There is also ample dining space outside on the lower deck. Much to our surprise, Terra had the house stocked with initial supplies of paper products, soap, dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent, and garbage bags. We could not have asked for a more well equipped, cleaner, or more peaceful home to spend our vacation. Thank you Terra and Scott for a wonderful week!
