Great view...but place needs to be steam cleaned. The bed room carpet filthy. The couch in the living room was so filthy...that I couldn't sit on it without putting down towels first. Same comment about living room rug. The bathroom tub needs to be replaced as the porcelain is chipped in several places. The grout in the tile throughout the place is filthy.
Small things. There were no batteries in the remote for the bedroom TV. The instructions said to run dishwasher and wash dishes and put the away before you leave...but there was no dishwasher detergent. I checked out a day early. This place should come with a warning label.

Other than the decent beach view, this place is old and dirty. The stairs to the loft is very narrow.
The cleaning crew barely cleaned the place. There were stains throughout all the furniture and wiped everything down before sitting on it as well as cleaning the floor. The shower had mold. Vacasa checked in with me about my stay and I provided photos to show them how dirty the place was. They issued a $56 cleaning fee refund, which is minimal and did not justify the quality of what I received. I’d rather stay somewhere else next time…

We had a wonderful time at Bethany Beach and Sea Colony. The location and view from our unit was amazing. Easy access to the beach and it was an easy process to rent umbrellas and chairs. The unit does need updating. We were surprised to see the condition of the grout in the shower. It was so bad it looked like the faucet for the bath water might fall off. The layout of the unit was fine, although the beds, especially the twin beds in the loft were bouncy and uncomfortable according to our 18 and 22 year old girls. With some real updates, I would have given this unit a 5.

The home was very dirty and pictures need to be updated because they do not accurately reflect the homes condition. Bathrooms were filthy and the caulking was black with mold. Ant traps everywhere. Steps to go upstairs to the loft are VERY tight. Would not stay here again.

The unit is situated very close to the beach. When taking the elevator, one can be on the beach in less than 5 minutes of walking time. Overall, the unit has the necessary cooking materials for basic cooking needs. However, there were several cleanliness issues with the home. First, it appeared as if the toilet had not been cleaned. There were urine stains on the toilet when we arrived. Second, the apartment had a continual problem with ants. Ants were constantly coming in through the wall. At one point, there was a miscommunication and a housekeeper came in, thinking the unit should be empty. However, we had already been there for 2 days into our 7 day stay. After some explanation, we were allowed to stay, but it was surprising when we were sitting on the porch and turned around to see someone in our unit. Lastly, we did tell them about the ant problem, but no one came to resolve the issue or clean up the ants that were littered throughout the bottom floor.

Beach trip
This was a wonderful place to stay. Waking up every morning and looking out to the ocean. All the comforts of home but with a beachfront view.

Sea colony is amazing. This condo was very disappointing!
There were 8-10 issues that needed addressed when we moved in. Broken items. Missing items. Dirty items. BUGS. Most were fixed but you just felt dirty in the condo. The bugs. The furniture was dirty. Not happy with the condo.

Nice condo, perfect location.
The only issue we had was the shower curtain liner was all moldy, they should have replaced it or tried to clean it.

Gorgeous setting, property, and facilities with many amenities (indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center). Most importantly--the beach was quiet and family friendly. The apartment was quaint, cozy, and clean with a well-equipped kitchen. Beautiful view! Our only suggestion would be to replace the mattress in the main bedroom--it's time.

Disappointed
The view is fantastic. The condo wasn’t the cleanest and the queen mattress is so soft and worn that I woke up sore every morning. Will not be staying in this unit again.

Cozy, Stylish and Convenient
We enjoyed staying at this stylish and cozy loft condo. The place had a well equipped kitchen with a fabulous view of the beach and ocean. The bedding is soft and conducive to a good night's sleep. Clean and comfortable with great Sea Colony facilities, this property is conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and downtown Bethany Beach. Everything you need for a great vacation is provided by this high quality rental!

Beautiful view dirty condo
The location and the view are very nice. The condo was very dirty. The condo was not cleaned before we came and dirty linens where left. We where very disappointed with how the condo was maintained.
