Hôtel La Grange d'Arly

I like how cozy it is and most importantly how clean and quite. The location is perfect, walking distance from the center of megeve. Parking is no problem because they have their own parking and you don't need to walk far, the parking is just beside of the hotel. 40 minutes from hotel going to chamonix and that time when went there is no traffic. Everything we like it.

Location and clean rooms

Great location, not in the middle of the town, but within a 5min walk to the it. So, it's much quieter! Wonderfully welcoming staff. Happy, smiling, ready to do anything to make one's stay enjoyable. The hotel is like a big chalet with 22 rooms (I think) - it's all wood, inside and outside, with balconies and fabulous views. It's feels like "old charm in the mountains!" My room was a good size, esp. as I was upgraded to a 3-people room (by myself) with a loft inside the room (I did not climb up there!). It felt really spacious. The bathroom was not big but quite functional, and a treat was that the toilet was in its own "closet", so it makes it much more comfortable and private if a couple gets the room. Breakfast? Great. OK, it's not a large hotel, so it's not a huge buffet, but everything was so good and high quality! And of course a mixture of savory vs. sweet options. Loved it! (Don't tell anyone - it was too good, and I ate too much!).

Nothing - it was an excellent stay! Friendly and comfortable! I could have stayed there for a week!

-Frühstücksbuffet war eher mau und nicht so reichhaltig - das Badezimmer datiert aus den 50er Jahren und hätte eine Renovierung nötig - Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt für mich nicht
