This is my second review ever because I am one of those annoying people who don't write reviews. But, this is coming from experience of 20+ years of traveling to this area to go to the beach 1-2 times per year. My first review ever was because of the best property management company - Holiday Beach Rentals. This is for the opposite reason. The house was nice and accurate to the listing except for some BIG issues. The doors to the balconies were broken so we couldn't go on the balcony. On a beachfront property!! We contacted the property manager, Vacasa, and literally spent the entire week going back and forth with them. They wouldn't answer us for over 24hrs and they were not very helpful. After going back and forth for days, they offered what they said was the maximum refund amount allowed which came to 0.04% of what we paid for the week. It was very frustrating. They would text us that they were glad they could be of assistance even when the issue had been resolved yet. The beach was beautiful, but the house is located right next to a public access pier to the beach so it could get very crowded. The pool was very small, but that's normal for beach houses these days. The house is just what the listing says. The layout is a little odd and not having an elevator made moving in and out a little difficult. But, overall, it was comfortable and worked for our family and friends.

The property was very nice. The kitchen and living area accommodated our 12 person group. My problem was communicating with the property manager. We stayed two weeks. The first week we had a problem with the air conditioner in the garage-turned game room. I called customer service, which was obviously a call center, and was told that they would call our local Vacasa agent and have someone look at the wall air-conditioning unit. I never heard from them. The second and most disturbing problem was the sliding glass doors that led out to the decks facing the ocean off the master bedroom and the living area. We had a hard time during our first week getting the doors to open due to rust on the tracks. Then, they wouldn't open at all. I called on Tuesday of our second week and, after repeated calls to the call center, a repairman came and said he could not fix the door - he would report the issue and a specialty door company would be sent out later that day. Everyone I talked to at the call center assured me that the problem would be taken care of promptly. After eight more calls and days going by without being able to use either deck, the specialty door people showed up on Friday before our checkout on Saturday. Two men could not open the door and left saying they would report the issue. Never heard from anyone again. I hope the owner reads this because guest services really let us down. The decks viewing the beach are a major amenity which we didn't have use of.

This home delivered as advertised! I literally am always disappointed at some level… but not this time. It is just like the pictures and then some. I brought entire family (9 now) and it swallowed us up. Big. Comfortable. And absolutely gorgeous. Private beach access. And for those interested, take 400 foot of expandable water hose it you want fresh water for baby pool on the beach. They also said no “tents” on the beach but everyone had them lol. Excellent grill on patio. Amazing appliances. Gas stove is definitely legit. 2 dishwashers which is another plus. It has plenty of glasses, dishware and cookware. It has large boil pot and the gas stove was strong enough to cook lobster and crap with excellent vent over stove. Never boiled inside my home as have jet burner and do it outside… this kitchen has large vent hood and stout burners so it handled it just fine. Also of note, everything you sant and need is near. I brought trailer and my golf cart which totally recommend. Golf carts everywhere and you can drive cart everywhere. Street legal of course. In summary, I recommend with highest regards without any reservations.

Location was great. Couple downfalls- had to call for maintenance three times in the first few days. Was not able to check in until after 4:30- cleaning crew was not finished and we had a car load of groceries. The people at Vacasa were great to work with. They want to communicate in a text but they never respond. We received check-put instructions after we were already 5 hours away. The kitchen is in great need of pots and pans and linens. Not one single hit pad I. The house.

The house was nice and clean. We loved the location. Only complaint was that the upstairs didn’t cool well.
