The patio cottage was awesome. Just as described and Scott was a wonderful host. He also has a really nice welcome book with some great suggestions regarding the city and surrounding areas. The cottage is also right off of Alberta St and there are countless shops and great restaurants in walking distance. This was a bonus I hadn’t planned on. Lastly, and possibly most importantly, the bed is awesome. 😊 Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Scott.

The patio cottage was ideal for me. The bed was extremely comfortable, the mattress was mite-proofed, and the bedding was 100% cotton. Al the windows and doors had effective room darkening curtains, and was very quiet at night. The induction hot plate was effective and the pots, pans, utensils, and dishware provided allowed for creative cooking. The bathroom was clean and functional. The Bluetooth speaker provided was a nice bonus. Scott was a terrific host. He owns and lives on the property and takes the Eco concept seriously, regarding recycling and composting, which I do at home, so, now an issue for me. He provides a lot of information about the area, which was very helpful. He wanted to know if there was anything I needed, and supplied my requests immediately. Importantly, he respected my privacy and never invaded my space. I'm very happy that I chose it for my visit to Portland.

This is such a nice place to stay!
There was no TV in this unit but it was not missed at all! There is WiFi and a Bluetooth speaker provided. Plus it’s so close to so many places to check that most of the time was spent out exploring.
The street is quiet too.
I would definitely stay here again.

I loved my stay at the Eco Cottage in Portland! The host Scott was easy to communicate with and pictures attached to a check in are always a bonus. The place itself was just perfect, on a quiet street, just adorable inside and out with a nice patio area out front. I had everything I needed and the host even offered to supply more items mid stay if needed. All in all just delightful.

I am no stranger to short stay rentals in Portland, as I'm in and out for work alone. This Cottage is easily my favorite! Scott is a fabulous host, the little house is immaculately laid out with everything I could need to both work and enjoy Portland. Street parking was easy, the location is in a great neighborhood and easy to get anywhere in town.

The Patio Cottage is a well thought out gem made with love for all travelers lucky enough to encounter it! This place is small but doesn't feel cramped and is stocked full of all the essentials to make your stay comfy and pleasant. Scott is so accommodating and kind. This is an awesome space not to be missed!

The Portland EcoHouse Patio Cottage was the perfect place for a little solo getaway and mom-vacation! The cottage was clean, quiet, was nicely decorated and had all the things you could need for a little retreat. The host, Scott was very friendly, helpful and quickly responded to any inquiries or questions I had. He had several resources to help me explore Portland for the first time and find a way to get to the Columbia River Gorge (30 min away) to see the waterfalls even though I didn't have a car. The location is great with some of Portland's best places to eat within less than 2 miles from the front door. I really enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evenings sitting by the fire pit while reading a good book. The location was quiet and there were no strong fragrances within the home (if you are sensitive to smells like me, this is a huge help!). I also loved all the little eco friendly touches within the home. As a single woman in an unfamiliar city, I felt very safe during my stay. It's the perfect spot in a nice neighborhood to explore the culture and best Portland has to offer.

I stayed at Portland Eco House in the Patio Cottage for 5 days and thoroughly enjoyed my stay from beginning to end. Scott was a very accommodating host and has a very well put together property thats both private and pretty while also being located near the action and GREAT food. I will definitely be staying at the Eco House again!!!

I was in town to visit family and this was the perfect place for me. Cozy feel with lovely decor yet spacious enough to feel at home. Privacy shades and curtains perfect. Kitchen with all that is needed for breakfast and snacks - ate out or at sisters the rest of the time. Quiet neighborhood with easy walking to transportation and coffee shops and restaurants. Will stay here again when back in Portland.

This is a hidden gem! I was looking online for somewhere to stay that was near the Alberta Arts area, and this place stood out right away. I booked directly with Scott, who is a phenomenal host!
I stayed in the Patio Cottage and loved it! It's a bit like a tiny home, and everything you need is pretty much provided. I didn't rent a car this trip, but the parking sites great. My son and DIL could always find a space. The patio is inviting, and I spent some time out there just relaxing. The grounds are beautiful, with a variety of plants and flowers.
I will definitely stay here again!

My second time at the Ecohouse, this time in the patio cottage. Super pleasant, especially on several lovely spring days and nights. I especially enjoyed the quiet and the convenient location. Lavender growing out front was a big plus. Scott is, as ever, a gracious and accommodating host.I’m hoping to stay there again this fall. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

The Patio Cottage is cozy without feeling cramped. Plenty of room for my girlfriend and I to be perfectly comfortable over a five night stay. Scott was a very welcoming and knowledgeable host. We had plenty of bars, restaurants and shops to explore in the surrounding neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again!

The Eco cottage was a great place to stay while in Portland. It was within walking distance to many shops and places to eat and was a close drive to all of the “must dos” in Portland. The host was very accommodating and the place was very well kept and clean. The cottage is a bit more compact than we thought but still worked great for me and my husband, you also do have to walk through a gate into a back yard to access the place. Overall, a great place for our 3 day stint in Portland.

This rental is just as described and even better than I expected! The cottage was super clean and well appointed. Scott was a super host, attentive to details during my stay. I appreciated the quiet off-street location, the surrounding neighborhood and walking proximity to restaurants, stores and public transportation. We loved our stay at Scott’s place. Scott was an incredibly responsive host. The place is as described, but full of many nice touches that show all the extra love and care here. Though small, the space is laid out very efficiently and has everything you might need. Scott even made a lovely book with info on the house. The patio is adorable, and the location served us really well. Street parking was easy to find. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Quiet area, lots of on street parking, and close to great food and drink.

My dear friend and I had a lovely stay at the Patio cottage. We barely used our cars…there are so many fabulous restaurants within walking distance (I loved Gumba). Scott was a courteous and communicative host who made our stay comfortable and convenient. We will be back!

Scott was incredibly accommodating making a short notice booking and check in an ease, even on Christmas Eve. The space itself is tranquil , private, extremely comfortable and functional. It is well maintained,clean,and nicely decorated including some of Scotts own artwork. The cottage also offers an inviting outdoor space provided the weather cooperates.Thanks again Scott

The cottage was absolutely perfect for the two of us! And the location was phenomenal. Loved that we could walk to bars, breweries, restaurants and cute little retail shops. There was even a Natural Grocers around the corner. It was everything we needed. The neighborhood was inviting and so quiet at night. The space itself was vibrant, clean, and well-appointed. Scott, the owner, was incredibly attentive and super helpful. We felt welcomed and comfortable and will definitely be planning a return trip.

Very nicely decorated place. It has everything you need. Its clean and when the weather is nice the outside seating would be ideal. It is a small space. For one person it's perfect, for a couple it might be tight.

I was traveling solo and loved this place. Was a safe neighborhood and easily walkable to a few different neighborhoods.
Cleanliness is key for me. The house was very clean and extremely well appointed. Every detail was thought out! I felt right at home.

We were impressed with the tranquillity of the neighbourhood and the plentiful trees. Scott has created some lovely outdoor seating areas. The eco house is clean, cosy and well stocked. Lovely stay overall and Scott was very accommodating.
