We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Victorian house at Crescent Beach. We were two families of four each, plus our elderly mother. The house feels even larger than it appears in the photos. There was so much room that no one ever felt like they didn’t have enough space. We had some extended family that was staying nearby in Niantic, who stopped by for a visit, and the front patio, the porch, and the large kitchen table were all great places to gather. The views from the front porch and patio are quite beautiful. We spent a great deal of time just sitting on the enclosed porch and chatting. Our teenagers found the beach directly across the street a bit small, but the larger part of Crescent beach is right up the road. They had a great time there and loved swimming out to the raft. Ken and Laura were very accommodating, and even had pie plates and muffin tins waiting at the house that were purchased after I inquired about them. At our request they also put some of the twin beds together to make king beds, that were so comfortable, you felt as if you were really in a king bed. The third floor loft was very spacious and comfortable and loved by the kids in our group. The check in and check out processes were very easy. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would love to return again someday.

What a perfect home for our annual Girls Weekend! Happy Hour on the front patio with water view was just lovely – what a bonus to have a beach literally across the street! Large dining room table as well as large kitchen island was perfect for us to enjoy the meals we had indoors. This home fit the bill perfectly with lots of sitting areas both indoors and outdoors. There were 10 of us and never have we rented a place that actually had 10 single beds – worked very well for us! Game room on the third floor was a fun option. The Niantic Boardwalk was close by with a few stores/restaurants in that area. The host was very responsive, easy to work with and took the time to call to see if we needed anything or had any questions. All-in-all a fabulous time was had by all and I highly recommend!

Our group of 3 families with kids had an amazing stay at this beautiful house. The layout of the house was perfect for a large group. The kids loved the game room in the attic and the adults loved sitting on the patio and sunroom. The view of the water is amazing and the neighborhood couldn't be more charming. Having the beach across the street was so convenient and the house had everything we needed (beach chairs, umbrellas, floats, toys, etc). Would absolutely come back again!

This is an expansive, charming house on the water with lots of character. Beds were comfortable and the house layout was convenient. House was clean and well-kept. We had a great visit and hope to return!!!

We were 10 senior ladies celebrating a Sorority reunion. The house was perfect. The owners were fantastic. Every need was quickly addressed. Great location near beaches and Niantic where there were several restaurants etc.

Staying at this property was a great vacation for our family. The 3rd floor rec room was definitely the most popular place to be in the house. The view from the patio made morning coffee an enjoyable beginning to the day.

The house had lots of room for the 11 of us; 7 adults and 4 kids from 5 years old to 13 years old. The kids loved the 3rd-floor playroom. It was great having the beach right across the street and another beach within walking distance with a wharf that the kids swam to and jumped off. I loved the big kitchen table that we had meals at with the high chairs. The patio out front was great to sit on later in the afternoon when it was in the shade.

Hosts are very responsive to questions and a kind. The home is perfect for large groups/families. Perfect beach location! So happy we rented here for our annual family vacation.

Property very well maintained and supplied. Everything you could imagine included! My kids loved the pool table in the attic. Each room with AC, which was amazing. Host incredibly kind and attentive. A million beach toys, chairs and equipment to keep kids entertained. The view from the patio was gorgeous and we ate most meals there. Fabulous family weekend!

We were 3 families with 5 kids between the ages of 11 months and 3 years. The house was exactly what we were looking for. The right size for every family to have privacy but gather together in the many shared spaces when we wanted. The kitchen area was where we spent most of the time and it's perfectly stocked. The location couldn't be better, 1 block away from the beach. The communication with Ken was also perfect. We will be back.

Great location, plenty of room for gathering or getting personal space. Waves and ocean are right across the street, parking is easy on the property. Felt like "home" as soon as we arrived.

We loved the location and size of this home was perfect for our 11 family members. Great eat in kitchen and the refrigerator in the garage under the house came in very handy. There was not much TP, PT or any dishwasher pods in the house and all the hand soap was watered down, so check out supplies when you arrive and address any of your needs right away.
