We loved this historic home, location and amenities.The only downside for us were the old claw-footed bathtubs.They look great and fit the old style, but for us they were very difficult to get in and out and I actually needed help not to slip.While I know it would be a cost to the owner, putting a walk-in shower downstairs would allow older guests to really enjoy this wonderful home.I guess because we stayed 5 nights, it was more of an issue.

We had a family gathering in Pacific Grove and stayed in the Little House. What a well kept lovely Victorian home. We were right next to the path to walk my dogs for hours. We took a surrey along the path...what a trip that was. Inside the home you will find all you need. I highly recommend staying here.

My husband and I have stayed here a couple of times with our doggie. Great location in a quiet neighborhood nice little yard for the dog, clean and comfortable. Other reviews have mentioned the shower, tub being precarious, and we agree with that. I would not recommend this house if you have any mobility issues, as it can be a danger.

Pretty much walkable to where you want to go, with the cutest little backyard area! I found myself conflicted - I wanted to explore the beauties the area has to offer, but I also just wanted to hang in out at the home. This house is filled to the brim with Victorian charm. The clawfoot bathtubs were wonderful for soaking, but be advised, showering created a slippery surface. Be cautious of that. The home was well-equipped and very comfortable. I would love to return one day, however it is pretty pricey and seems to fluctuate greatly - but is definitely a “get what you pay for” experience. If you are very tall, I would not recommend this home only because of the low ceilings located upstairs. Other than that it’s pretty near perfect!

My family of four including daughters 9 and 11 stayed here for four nights with the in-laws. Our family stayed upstairs and it was quite private from the downstairs. Everything was wonderful and the host was super responsive. My daughter spilled nail polish on a rug and shower curtain and I sent photos of the crime scene to the host and they were able to handle it and didn’t charge us which was very kind. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed a beautifully decorated historical home in the heart of Pacific Grove. We were welcomed with wine, cheese, and crackers. There is a beautiful oceanside trail just around the corner and many restaurants, shops, and an amazing aquarium are in walking distance. The kitchen is well stocked. Towels, bedding, linens were nice quality. We had difficulty with the preprogrammed A/C. Despite our efforts to keep the desired temperature at 70, it kept hopping back up to 80. The firepit and outdoor chairs were not prepped for use. We had plenty of keys and parking is easy.

Very well located close to ocean trail and downtown PG. Kitchen was very nice and well stocked. Furniture in living room needs updating, and tub/showers are difficult to navigate for those of us of a certain age. ;-) As with all Sanctuary rentals, home is very clean. Overall we were satisfied, but prefer a more modern rental home.

Ideal location. Quiet neighborhood, lodging 3 houses away from coastline. Charming, clean and comfortable. Don’t let name “Little House” mislead you-quite spacious. Large kitchen, roomy bedrooms, dining room/living room plus bonus room with desk and laundry appliances. Yard is completely fenced and landscaping is beautifully done. Highly recommend.

A block to the ocean and perfect for two friends. One upstairs and one downstairs. It was walking distance to restaurants and the bike path. Pebble beach just a ten minute drive. We hiked everyday. There were so many amazing ocean hikes and the sea lions were birthing. 💕

Little house was such a wonderful place to stay! We loved being there. The best part was being able to walk to the ocean, restaurants, the aquarium, and even tide pools! We were always out walking thanks to the accessibility to the walk along the shoreline. Our children loved it and already want to return. The house was clean which was huge for myself...being a momma of a young ones. We also loved the vintage look of the home, it was beautiful. Thank you for a beautiful and clean house!!!!

Just a block back from the water and only a few block from downtown. The house is beautifully restored and appointed. High quality amenities. Be aware both bathrooms have claw foot tubs which were a bit difficult for some guests to get in and out of. Management company was friendly and helpful. I would take my family back in a heartbeat.

Wow! Beautiful home in just as beautiful location! The historic home is well maintained and the choices for antique interior accents is fantastic! It’s nice where they added modern touches where important like the appliances. The double deep driveway is especially nice since everything is very walkable from the house. Half a block to the ocean, less than 15 minute walk to the aquarium and Canary Row!We also loved how well stocked the house was, plenty of towels throughout, hand soaps at each sink. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in each shower. Dish soap and pods in the kitchen, and even laundry pods for the stack laundry in the office area. Communication was top notch, instructions clear, easy check in and check out! Would definitely stay here or anither Sanctuary Vacation Rental property again!

Our stay at Little House exceeded our very high expectations! The house was beyond well-equipped (the kitchen had arguably more amenities than our kitchen at home) and the home was extremely clean and tidy. The house itself is also gorgeous - all renovations have been period appropriate for the home and it's just stunning. Having one bed and bath downstairs, with two more bedrooms upstairs along with an additional bathroom is a great layout for many families, including ours. Also, our pups loved the fenced yard and the incredibly short (1/2 block) walk to the ocean! Our time at Little House was pretty much ideal and we will most certainly be back!

Incredibly well-furnished kitchen in a charming home! Located one block from the park and the coastal trail. Lovely and quiet location in Pacific Grove. Very comfortable for 4 adults...a little tight with 6. If you’re tall, the upstairs could be a challenge. Showers are in claw foot bathtubs which are charming but if you have mobility issues they could be a challenge to get in and out. Overall, very lovely accommodations and I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Excellent location to the MBA and Asilomar
We are frequent visitors to Pacific Grove since our kids were babies. Fast forward 16 years later and over 30+ overnight stays, PG is still one of our favorite homes away from home. We’ve stayed in many homes and this property is one of our top 5 for its cleanliness, amenities and comfort. Thanks for a great time and we will be back again or at one of your other properties in the Monterey area.

We loved the space and the location! It is such an adorable house and laid out well. We walked pretty much everywhere because it is so close to the trail by the ocean. The beds are exceptionally comfortable and they have luxurious towels as well. There weren’t any plastic or bamboo dishes which was tricky with small children but otherwise they have a very well stocked kitchen.
