The location is perfect, not far away from the beach and the street wasn't so noisy. Lot's of places to eat. You always have a choice. The room was simple and clean. Air conditioner and fan worked perfectly. The owner, Mir is a very helpful and friendly person. He gave us lots of recommendations.

The location was perfect, 3min walk to the beach. The room was perfectly clean and with a big balcony. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful, the laundry service was excellent!

A fantastic hotel in an amazing location so close to the beach. The rooms are spotlessly clean and modern with free WiFi and air conditioning. The staff are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble for them and they will do everything to ensure your trip is perfect. I highly recommend staying here and I would do so again myself.

Our stay was very nice at maria guest house! it only takes some minutes to get to the beach! the staff was very friendly and we felt welcomed from the first minute! the room was clean and quite big, so nothing to complain!

We arrived earlier than expected and an early check in had been organised promptly. Prior to our stay we stayed in 3-4 stars hotels two weeks and none of them were as clean as here. The rooms were spotless. The host Mir was very kind and ready to answer any questions. We used the laundry service at a very reasonable price and the clothes were perfect. We'd like to quote Mir himself: "when you come back from the beach you're looking to find a clean place where to relax". The rooms are really big and the AC works great. Hot water also working. We can't recommend it enough!

We had a lovely stay at Maria’s guest house! We were greeted with a warm smile and were looked after from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The bed was big and comfortable and the bathroom the cleanest we’ve experienced in Goa. The guest house is a short 3 minute walk to the beach and is near some great bars (we loved Rococo!) but also extremely quiet at night. The best value for money so far - would recommend!

The Maria is a clean, comfortable and reasonably priced guest house. The staff are incredibly helpful & polite and I would highly recommend. I’ve stayed in several places in south goa and, although a 5 minute walk to the beach, the Maria is ideal for medium-long term stays. Huge beds, wifi and AC. It only takes a couple of days to become familiar with the area and appreciate the proximity to the beach (unless you stay in a cabin directly on the beach this is a better/more economic alternative to the ‘side’ sea views offered by others). There are good restaurants/bars within a few seconds/minutes walk. The rooms are tiled, a good size and come with balconies and unless you want to pay a premium for (direct) sea views, I wouldn’t hesitate to book.

All things considered I would definitely book again. If you’re here for two days then maybe splurge on a sea view, otherwise, this is a treat.

The staff were rude and very unfriendly. Cleaning was only done once a week and the staff shouted at us for leaving the room in a mess when leaving. Beds and pillows were uncomfortable. There was no fridge or TV available and you had to be quiet at all times. Will not be returning

Rafiq helped us with everything we could ask. Towel for the beach, bikes for rent, taxis to the airport for pickup and drop. He even arranged it so we could take a shower hours after checking out. Very helpful. The place it's a 5 min walk to the beach. Bed sheets and towels were clean and smelled good.

This guest house was in an excellent location. The owner and his staff are exceptional and all so friendly and helpful. The location is good, a short walk to the beach. Shops, bars and excellent restaurantes are all less than 5 minutes. The staff are always making sure everything is clean and well kept. Organising a hire car, collection from the airport and being driving back after our stay to the airport was all sorted.

Very nice place to stay in the Palolem village. A/C, hot water, clean. To the beach only 4 minutes by walk, good restaurants nearby. I really enjoyed my stay there. You can also attend yoga classes in the neighborhood.
