Lovely location and plenty of space for a family. Very comfortable beds and seats. The cooking facilities were fantastic.

The only downside was the lack of recycling facilities available. The bins had to be emptied into a commercial bin behind the property which was pretty difficult as it was already overflowing.

Location 5 mins walk into Ambleside. Views were fantastic. It was really spacious apartment. Beds comfortable. We really thought it was a lovely apartment didn’t get all the bad reviews but below I have put things to improve but this didn’t spoil our time in apartment.

Just a few things that need improvement. Could have been cleaner. The dishwasher just needed salt which we bought and added. The lock on front door needs adjusting as it was really stiff to close from inside. Outside light didn’t work. Main light in twin room didn’t work there was a bulb in draw but the fitting was broken. Only 2 decent sized mugs probably broken over time also would be nice in self catering to have decent sized wine glasses instead of ones that were probably free. But none of this would stop us booking again as this did not spoil anything .

Lovely and clean apartment. Amazing location 10mins to local shops, cafes and bars including the lake. The view was lovely from the terrace and good air fans in rooms. Could see the Jets passing in the mornings which my sons enjoyed. Great walks and beautiful scenery. Definitely returning again. Great memories made

Had a problem with the boiler but this was taken care of and we didnt need to be in the property for them to access. Not waiting around. Unable to use the jacuzzi. Would be nice for the terrace to maybe have some plants and lights would make a difference.

The location is excellent & it has the bonus of a private parking space which is difficult to get in Ambleside.

We have stayed in this property at least half a dozen times in the past as it was handy for work purposes. However, this time we felt quite dissapointed as the property is now looking very tired & would benefit from some TLC. Specifically, the dishwasher was very tempramental & would only work if I stood next to it & held the door shut. The TV in the bedroom would not work as there was no remote & it couldn't be operated independantly. Also there was a faint smell of damp throughout the property. We need to stay in Ambleside quite often for work, but sadly I'm not sure that I would choose to stay in this property again.
