We had a great stay at this lovely condo and we were more than pleased with the accommodations and location. It was a rainy day when we arrived and we had the best time hanging out in the cozy condo playing board games and hanging out on both balconies. The host is very responsive and kind.

This was the best Galveston vacation ever! The location was great. Beautiful views of the ocean and right on the beach. Just a 2 minute walk down the path. No crossing a busy Seawall Blvd. The beach was always so peaceful. It’s like we had our own personal beach. The condo is in close proximity to all the restaurants and Pleasure Pier on the Seawall. It was the perfect size with plenty of space for me and my daughter. It was clean and well stocked with anything we needed. There is about a 12 in. step up/down to get in and out of the shower but a grab bar is there to assist. The bedrooms were relaxing and comfortable with clean linens. The second bedroom has a more firm mattress which suited me just fine. The pool and area was very clean and heated. It was also very relaxing. The check in was easy and John, the front desk guy, was so helpful and friendly giving us all the needed info. Daniel was a great host. He communicated with us promptly every step of the way. I am looking forward to staying here again. Loved it!

Overall location was great, older property but well maintained. Had a great view of the beach from our balcony, access was straightforward over the boardwalk & the pool was nice as well. The condo itself is small but plenty of space for my partner & I. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay & the best part is the private beach, only a handful of people on both days we were there. Would definitely stay here again.

What a lovely vacation for our family! This place did not disappoint. It was the perfect size for our family of four and we loved the proximity to the beach. The fact that we were just up the coast from the busy public beaches made the experience that much more relaxing and special. It was also a nice surprise to find great extras like beach chairs, boogie boards and sand castle toys provided. The fantastic view of the ocean sitting out on the balcony was a nice way for my husband and I to unwind after the kiddos had gone to bed. We loved our stay and would recommend it for both families and couples. Can’t wait to come back!

This condo resort is a hidden gem. I have been renting different condos in Galveston for 20 years and i never knew this resort existed. I will never stay anywhere else again. Beach access is easy. Quiet property and friendly people staying at condo. Thank you!

So nice to be on the beach. The gliders on the balcony might be the best feature of all! Great, relaxing stay and the owners are kind and easy to work with.

Everything about this condo was perfect, very clean, unit is just like the pictures, ocean view, 2 min walk to beach, close to the pier and all restaurants. Unit was well stocked, building was clean, safe location, gate access, easy check in, friendly front desk. We would stay again. I did not give it 5 stars, because we arrived Sunday on Christmas night (it was freezing) and heat was not working in living room/open area. No big deal, things happen. But we checked out on Jan 2nd and heat was still not working. We were told we would receive space heaters and that they would be there Tuesday, then Wednesday, but they never came and host never followed up. Took off a star, not because heater was not working, (things happen) but because of lack of communication and follow up on space heaters. Never heard anything after being told they would be there on Wednesday, 5 more days and heaters did not arrive and we received no follow up. Otherwise this was a perfect stay for us. (Host did apologize at day of check out for heater not working)

I’d stayed in this building before so I was familiar with it and the location but this is the first time staying in this unit. It was really nice- just as portrayed in the description and photos. We really appreciated the attention to detail like the USB chargers on the bedside tables and anything we needed for a great weekend at the beach was there. Will definitely look to stay here again in the future!

Our condo was on the third floor and we had views of the Gulf that we will cherish. The ocean was the color of vivid blue to emerald and we enjoyed an unobstructed panoramic view from our balcony. The condo was well stocked with bathroom and kitchen items. It was nice and quiet with easy in and out to the beach. The grounds were landscaped beautifully. Perfect vacation at the Islander East, Condo number 305!

A Gem!
What a wonderful property! Everything was just perfect! The condo check in process was smooth and the man at the front was most helpful and kind. The condo is comfortable- the king bed was so comfy and the window units at the condo keep the place so cool on a hot summer day. The beach was nearly empty at this end and the condo was stocked with umbrellas, chairs, a wagon, beach toys and even an infant beach chair, which was a lovely surprise as it fit my 4 month old girl perfectly! Owner was awesome and let us check in early, too. Would love to come back!

We enjoyed this East Beach experience in May. The beach access, outdoor shower-off and condo were excellent. The location was close to the Strand and the harbor.

Amazing property and gem of a location that keeps you close enough to the hustle and bustle of this beach town, but lands you far enough away to a peaceful, quiet, calm little oasis where you can enjoy a gorgeous beach view and all the amenities you could need. Appreciated how clean, updated, well-stocked and beautifully decorated this condo was. We felt cozy and comfortable - cannot think of anything that would have made it any better! Amazing property and gem of a location that keeps you close enough to the hustle and bustle of this beach town, but lands you far enough away to a peaceful, quiet, calm little oasis where you can enjoy a gorgeous beach view and all the amenities you could need. Coffee on the bedroom balcony his n hers glider chairs. Owner really has updated unit very well. Best beachfront vrbo unit in Galveston for this price. Super clean and easy to enjoy. Great communication. Responsive property desk. Grilled rib eye to perfection on property grill. Very nice beach access with very wide and clean beach. We are refreshed and recharged. Thanks Daniel!

Everything was as the description implied.. Beach was close by.. views were beautiful.. there was not alot of people crowding the beach because the location is further down the beach.. and everything that was needed was there! Will def be my home away from the city when I want a getaway! The only thing I had an issue with is the heated pool was closed.. and I was anticipating on taking a swim.. otherwise- I cooked the whole time I was there and slept great as well!

Everything was as the description implied.. Beach was close by.. views were beautiful.. there was not alot of people crowding the beach because the location is further down the beach.. and everything that was needed was there! Will def be my home away from the city when I want a getaway! Sandcastle Escape
We typically stay in this building for the sandcastle competition each year. We really liked this room - and like previous reviews - the beds were very comfortable. The TVs are also nice when you want to relax at night (lots of channels and streaming options).
