We decided to take a trip down to Oak Island (a place I went to all the time with my family when I was young). Our son and our good friends from our first neighborhood met us there. The house was great and the proximity and views of the ocean were great. We liked the floor plan because it was essentially like two primary bedrooms, one on each floor. Great deck space front and back. Fenced backyard. Plenty of parking. We rented the golf cart and it was really fun driving it to the beach, the store and just around the island. We will rent this property again. Highly recommend it.

Our family had an amazing stay at this lovely house! It is exactly as pictured - beautifully decorated and included all the amenities for a relaxing stay. The property owner was hospitable and gracious and answered any questions we had. We cooked a few meals at the house and the kitchen had everything we needed. The home is so pet-friendly! Our dog loved the fenced-in backyard and adorable food/water bowls. We even used a provided baby gate to keep her on the porch with us while we enjoyed the ocean view. Such a quick, short walk to the beach with easy accessibility, we didn’t rent the golf cart, but I almost wish we had as it seemed to be a favorite mode of transportation around the island. I wish we were able to use the provided kayaks (such a nice perk!) but the horseflies at the waterway were too pesky to attempt it. We did manage a couple nice walks along the paths before the horseflies got too bad. The community area is so peaceful and relaxing, we loved the vibe. We will definitely return in the future! Thanks for such a wonderful vacation!

Overall the house was nice. A few things I thought could have been better. The master bath tub was very high and I felt was not safe for getting in and out. Laundry service for towels would be nice.

The house is lovely. It’s decorated so cute and cozy. We had the best time and felt like we were at home. The owner is super easy to communicate with and quick to respond. We will definitely be staying here again!!!

This is the best house we have stayed at so far at Oak Island. Super clean and feels very homey. Would highly recommend the golf cart as well, makes for a much more fun stay. Seriously can’t recommend this house enough, only place where I could absolutely see us coming back to.

It was very good. But we did not take notice when booking that it was a pet place and we have 2 asthma sufferers. But they survived 😊quite well with a mild reaction. Would certainly recommend it to our dog 🐕 loving friends

Property was clean, we had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. Property owner was great to work with. We enjoyed having coffee on the bedroom balcony in the mornings and the sunset view in the evenings

We loved staying at this beautiful well decorated home!! The location to the beach was great. A quick walk! The house had great views of ocean from top deck. The house was so homey and comfortable. The owner had great communication!! Would highly recommend and would love to come back again!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anchored by Faith. The house was clean, well-stocked and in a great location near the middle of Oak Island. We took advantage of the optional golf cart, and that made trips to and from the beach so easy! The fenced-in yard was perfect for our sweet dog to get some outside time, safely. And the property owner was incredibly responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Overall, we had a great time and property was as portrayed in both words and pictures. A couple of very minor hiccups but nothing to diminish our enjoyment and would not hesitate to stay here on future trips. A great experience and loved Oak Island and the Southport area. Easy walk to beach which we enjoyed daily. Owner reached out during stay to make sure all was well which I appreciated.

We really enjoyed our stay. We love Oak Island. Location is great and community was super quiet and low traffic this time of year. Enjoyed walks on the beach and across the marsh walk. Hope to return again and do some paddling. Home has everything you need for a relaxing and fun stay at OI.

Renting property was easy but a bit expensive with all the fees. Check out required take trash out, run dishwasher, wash towels, and strip sheets from beds and leaving on laundry floor. Was charged cleaning fee so didn’t think I should be required to do these chores before departure. Beautiful home and very comfortable stay.

We enjoyed our New Year's winter get-away to this lovely pet friendly home 3 rows back from the ocean. House was clean and plenty of kitchen utensils and spices. Great small backyard for our small dog. We really enjoyed renting bicycles and rode daily in the neighborhood. Last two days were warm enough for kayaking and fishing. Great walks on the beach and sunsets from nearby pier. Grateful for a great start to 2023!

I stayed two nights alone with my dog during the intense hurricane Ian. What a storm! Had a fine time relaxing on the screened porch listening to the neighbor’s wind chime. This house is decorated very well and has a fully stocked kitchen for anyone wanting to stay in and cook! Highly recommend this place!

This is the second time we stayed here and it certainly did not disappoint the second time around! Such a perfect spot for our growing family and the kids just loved the cute outside, kids bedroom, toys and games, and especially the swing!! Great location - even our toddler could walk to the beach! Loved it and will come back again!

Appreciate having a glass cooktop vs the old coil heating elements that you find in many rentals. If I had to stretch to find a negative, the kids said the twin beds were noisy, but even with that I highly recommend and give five stars overall.

Appreciate having a glass cooktop vs the old coil heating elements that you find in many rentals. If I had to stretch to find a negative, the kids said the twin beds were noisy, but even with that I highly recommend and give five stars overall.

Everything about this property was wonderful. The home was exactly as pictured and actually even better. Super convenient to the beach - wonderful views. I can’t say enough good things about this rental and communication with Jarrod. You cannot go wrong with this rental. We will be back!

He reccomended an Italian restaurant named Joseph's Bistro which turned out to be divine. We give this rental unit and owner 5+ stars. We will be going back to this area! Thanks for a wonderful long weekend getaway!

We have stayed at several different N.C. beaches in the past and this property far exceeded our expectations. It was so clean and nicely decorated. We loved that we could bring our fur baby and the screened in back porch that tied into the fenced in back yard was a great perk with our Dog. House was stocked better than any we have ever rented and beds, linens and towels were well stocked as well as new and very clean. We rented the units 6 passenger golf cart which was so fun and it made toting our beach items so easy as public access is very close by. Owner is so nice and quick to answer any questions. Perfect setting for fun and relaxation

AWESOME PLACE!!
This house has everything you need and so very much more. Cannot wait to book for next year. It was far more than we expected. The house is fully stocked with everything you can think of. And the screened in porch with s where we stayed. The beds are very comfortable. And the golf cart rental was a plus. Being able to have it was so nice. We will definitely be back. Jarrod thought of everything and was a delight to deal with. I loved all the inspirational touches throughout the home.

Lovely house - Perfect Location
We absolutely adored this place - very charming and the perfect size/location for our family! Our little girls (2 and 4) were in heaven - they just loved the cute kids' bedroom setup and they were obsessed with the swing in the front. The swing may have been the highlight of our toddler's stay. The place is definitely close enough to the ocean to walk (even our 2-year-old could manage the walk) and to hear and feel the ocean breeze. We loved sitting out on the balcony after the kids went to bed. We also loved having the fenced yard for our pooch who came along. The owners were incredibly responsive/attentive and even called to check in on us and make sure we got in OK! We recommend to others and will book again ourselves.
