I am extremely pleased with my stay on this lovely property. There are horses and lots of decks to sit and enjoy nature. Robert & Linda could not be better hosts. I felt at home from the very first time I entered the door. I highly recommend this property, it was clean, neat and had lots of antiques to explore.

Hosts Robert and Linda were great. They treated us like family. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We have stayed at other B&Bs but this was the best.

We were extremely pleased and blessed with our Hosts and our stay at Iona Stables and Inn! Robert and Linda are great people with loving hearts and they made us feel very welcome in their home. The atmosphere is a very peaceful and restful one and it is in an outstanding environment! A wonderful beach trip with the atmosphere of an exclusive country cottage feel even though you’re staying in a large house. We are so grateful that The Lord led us to this place and are looking forward to spending more times there in the future!

Couple nights away from the hustle and bustle w/ my husband. Beautiful property with many antiques, yet VERY fresh and clean (from my experience not always true of places with many antiques). Robert and Linda are friendly, kind, and have taken care of all the amenities you need. Breakfast each day was amazing and built around guest inputs - beautiful and delicious (thanks for the recipe, Robert!). I also really enjoyed meeting the horses and baby cows. Thanks for a fantastic weekend!

Robert and Linda were great hosts! Even chip their dog was very welcoming. The breakfast was amazing with a wide assortment of fruit, breads and bagels. The eggs and breakfast meats were great also. The room was excellent looking over the water. Thank you Robert and Linda for a great stay. 😊

Have you ever stayed at a B & B? We have stayed at many over the years. This was one of the best B & B experiences I have ever had. Sitting by the fire pit in the evening drinking wine and watching the sunset after a perfect day at the beach. Does NOT get any better. AND the hosts, Robert, Linda and Chip are Awesome! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at their beautiful home and gardens! Thank you for your gracious hospitality and delicious breakfasts. We will have to come back. Gary and Judy

Thank you, Linda and Robert, for such a memorable stay! We found the Iona Stables and Inn to be peaceful upon arrival. The welcoming atmosphere, kind hosts, breathtaking property, and calmness that could make the most stressed person feel at ease. It was hard to say goodbye because it felt like we lived there the entire time. To say we'd return is an understatement. We're anticipating the next chance we can get to stay at Iona and relax. Also, hats off to Robert for his delicious creations! We highly, highly recommend staying here!

We always enjoy our stays at Iona. Great hosts, awesome food, terrific accommodations. Many local sights and events with some very good restaurants as well.

It was very peaceful. I took a glass of water on the front porch and sat in a rocker. Saw butterflies, a hummingbird, a skink (like a salamander)and flowers. The breakfast was yummy and owners were very pleasant.

Robert and Linda thought of so many little details to make your stay so comfortable and inviting. Would highly recommend their beautiful property . Breakfasts were excellent

Our 3 night stay at Iona Stables and Inn was excellent. The facilities at the inn were impeccable and breakfast was delicious. Located in a tranquil setting but convenient to beaches, highway, shopping and tourist attractions this property met all our expectations.

Iona is a beautiful retreat tucked away from the hustle and bustle of a busy life. Time slows and the beauty and nature of this place calms your mind and quiets your soul. Bob and Linda make for wonderful hosts and Bob’s cuisine is so picturesque and so tasty! The location is easy to find, and the property has various activities such as paddle boating, pool table, fooseball table, numerous patios to relax on and even horses in the stables or out to pasture. There is a special comfort to this home and you will not be disappointed. Bob and Linda are super accommodating and wonderful to chat with. Beaches are just a short distance away. We felt recharged and well rested when we left. This place deserves the full 5 stars and more!

My daughter and I travel for her club field hockey team and we are always looking for unique places to stay - I find hotels to be boring. We had a wonderful stay at Iona Stables and Inn. We were greeted with a smile by our hosts, given the lowdown on the property and amenities and had a seamless check in process. The inn was peaceful and comfortable. We were served a delicious breakfast our first morning. We had eggs, sausage, muffins, fruit, yogurt - you name it, we had it! On our second day we were up and out early due to our schedule and “to go” breakfast options were offered to us - including coffee! The location can’t be beat. We were only 10 min. From our field hockey venue and only 30 min from beautiful Lewes, where we were able to easily get to and spend the afternoon shopping and strolling the town’s quaint streets. If you are looking for a place to stay in this area, you will not be disappointed with Iona Stables and Inn. We will surely be back!
