While we did enjoy our time at the rental property, I must bring to your attention some concerns we encountered during our stay.Upon our arrival on Saturday, we were disappointed to find several issues with the property. The most noticeable problem was the cleanliness of the floors. They were excessively dusty, and the master bathroom floor had visible stains. Additionally, the dishes in the kitchen were not properly cleaned, which was quite surprising and not what we had expected when we arrived.Furthermore, the property description led us to believe that the bottom room next to the master bedroom would have blinds and a TV. However, to our disappointment, these amenities were missing, making our stay less comfortable than anticipated. I immediately contacted your agency regarding these issues, and while I appreciate the prompt response, I was informed that the cleaning company would be contacted to address the cleanliness concerns. Unfortunately, nobody from the cleaning company arrived to rectify the situation. Additionally, we were told that a maintenance team would come to take care of a mirror issue on Monday at 1 pm. Regrettably, nobody showed up, leaving us with an unresolved maintenance problem.Overall, while the location of the property was acceptable, we found it lacking in proper maintenance and cleanliness. We had high expectations of finding a clean and well-maintained home upon our arrival, and unfortunately, this was not the case.Despite these setbacks, we made the most of our stay and enjoyed our time in the area. Reviewer Comments: Our family and friends (group of 7) were comfortable with the space provided and appreciated the Camp Watercolor, pools, beach, and playgrounds during our stay. Royal Destinations was responsive to our needs. The router went out and they instructed us on how to reset it. The bikes on property needed air in the tires and they told me who to call. Overall, the home has been remodeled but attention to detail is lacking. There is a large hole between the ceiling and the Vent hood in the kitchen. Caulking needs to be redone in the kitchen. There are many areas where the painter needs to come back and refine his work and complete it. These were simply aesthetic issues that did not take away too much from our stay. The home was clean and we had plenty of towels and linens. We guessed that the party before us was celebrating as strings and ribbon were left tied to the kitchen lights and balloons were on top of cabinets. These were easily overlooked. The splatter of toothpaste on the walls in the bunk room was unsightly but easily cleaned up by us. The kitchen windows also had dried green soap on them... the home just needs some TLC. The biggest disappointment with this home was that we paid to rent the on site golf cart and called/texted with Royal Destinations about the golf cart not working properly several times.... We even had to unload and push the cart on Western Lake Road... a flat road... with the golf cart battery at 67% on our third day there. We kept it plugged up and it did not recharge... which we also reported to the RDteam. While trying to plug in the golf cart charger using the extension cord that was left in place for us, the cord blew sparks...nearly shocking me. These issues with the cart were reported and we were told they would send out someone. But we did not get to use the cart as it wouldn’t go over 3mph and the owner wouldn’t compensate/reimburse us for our payment which we feel is unfair and wrong. Overall- 7/10.

Each of the bedrooms were spacious, plenty living spaces to hang out as a group or use one of the patios to get away. We had two families of 4 and had more than enough space. The kitchen had everything we need to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. Having access to the golf cart was a huge plus with 4 little kids. This was our 6th time to Watercolor and this house was by far the best that we've stayed in.

We made our booking speaking with an agent and were given a final price where I told the agent we also wanted the golf cart with the house. Payment was then made. We showed up on the first day but no golf cart keys were available. Royal Destination then told us this was not included with the rental. I told them we had told their agent when we paid to include the golf cart and I had paid what I was told to pay by their agent. They then notified me it would be an additional 672.00 to use the golf cart after I'd previously paid what they'd told me was the final price which I understood to include the golf cart. With four kids we had not choice but to do it. The agent I spoke to regarding this issue was not friendly nor did he acknowledge any fault on Royal Destinations part regarding this issue.Additionally, we'd asked for an early check in because we knew this property wasn't booked the day before. They would only allow an early check in with an exorbitant fee. Every other company we've ever used will allow if possible without charging extra.I've rented numerous times in Watercolor from numerous rental agencies. I've never had an issue with any of them before this. I will not rent through Royal Destinations again. Regarding the property, the kitchen and living room are upstairs at the back of the house which is an inconvenience having to walk up stairs for meals and gathering. Since the gathering area is at back of the house there's no view out towards the street to see the neighborhood which is one of our favorite layouts of houses in Watercolor. Also on the last day, the cleaning company arrived 2-3 hours early so we felt like we were being rushed out. There are better properties at better prices and better rental companies with better customer service. I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare breakfast each day. There were plenty of options from the front porch, second floor balcony or screened porches to relax each morning and evening. The house was very convenient to Camp Watercolor and a short bike ride or golf cart ride to the beach club. House was well maintained and the finishes are so nice. We will be back!

We have had wonderful experiences with Royal Destinations homes, however this one didn’t meet expectations. The home was quite a bit dated. We had trouble with 8 people trying to take showers around the same time. The second floor warm water didn’t last long. A Royal Destination representative helped with this issue. We rented a golf that had a severed charging cord. We were unable to use the cart for 2 days. We’ve always had good luck with renting from Royal Destinations but this would not be our pick again.
