Owner was organized with info about operating everything in the home. Instructions and manuals are all digital so if not tech savy, could be a challenge to access. However, may not even need them.
Home was very well stocked with EVERYTHING you could need for your stay.
Lots of recommendations for local attractions and dining. Love, love this place and would most defitely book again!

This was our third time staying in the Arnold area and this house had it all - great location, great amenities, friendly host, and everything else we needed.
The kitchen is well stocked with the tools needed, the technology touches like wireless charging were a bonus, and the spa/sauna on the back deck were perfect for those cool fall nights.
Thank you Paul for your help in the process and for having a wonderful home available for us to enjoy.
All in all 11/10!

This was a great place to stay with our family. I especially loved the big open living room with carpet, it was so nice to be able to play on the floor with the kids. The hot tub worked great and all showers were nice and hot. The beds were comfortable and they were tons of extra blankets and linen if needed. The smart TV had all the apps so the kids could watch their favorite shows. The location was close to the highway and easy to get up to Bear Valley too. Overall a great place to stay. I would definitely come back.

This is a clean, spacious cabin with a beautiful deck and layout. We stayed with our 3 children, one a baby, and really appreciated the space. They loved the loft! Everything was really clean and the beds super comfortable. The master bedroom is lovely! We all loved using the hot tub in the snow and appreciated the sleds in the garage for sliding down little hills in the yard and on the block! Would highly recommend.
*Do note that this is a pet-friendly property, somehow I missed that and my husband who is allergic to dogs suffered as a result of the dog hair.

We stayed for a weekend with family and friends (3 young kids and 6 adults) and the cabin was perfect! We've stayed at a lot of rental homes and this is one of the best. Everything was very clean and worked, the technology at the house is great (QR codes with instructions, Alexa turning on the lights, wireless chargers all over the place, nice and new hot tub and sauna). We were able to play in the snow and go up to Bear Valley to ski one day. Highly recommend!

Took the family and dog up to have a quaint little Thanksgiving. Our two little girls got to see snow for the first time and go sledding. The place had everything you’d need to make a big feast (minus food). The host was very attentive and the place had all of the amenities and updated smart home tech to make it a breeze. Highly recommend!!!

We had a wonderful weekend at this cabin. We were in town for a wedding at The Dorrington Hotel which was only a 5 minute drive. Very clean, comfortable and great communication with the owner.

We spent Labor Day weekend at this property and had an amazing time. There was plenty of space for everyone, the property was clean and well stocked and just as advertised. Would definitely recommend and plan to stay here again.

Relaxing among the trees.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay. House is very clean and fully stocked. Plenty of space for our group to spread out and relax. Hot tub and sauna was just what i needed!

Lovely rental
This was one of the best VRBO properties I've stayed at. I am a power wheelchair user and used the sliding glass door to enter as there were was about a 2 inch lip at the front door threshold and I forgot my little portable ramp. However It was easy to enter thru the many side doors. The first floor had good access and was spacious to get around without a problem. The owner answered my questions about access before I went, He was also very responsive to my inquiries.
It was very spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen had nice appliances and had everything we needed to cook. I particularly liked that all of the drawers and cabinets were labeled so we knew exactly where things went when we left. My family loved the tub. The beds were comfortable and the 1st floor master bedroom was very spacious. I would definitely stay here again.

There were legos for our daughter to play with, movies for her to watch through the apple tv’s he had in the living room and the master bedroom. The hot tub was amazing! Paul was always ready to communicate and checked on us during our stay; he left very clear directions and information to help us know the property. The cabin was beautiful and so clean! We greatly appreciated the stocked kitchen, it was nice not to have to being cookware or plates and such; the kitchen was beautiful with a range stove. Seasonings and cooking oils were stocked and clearly labeled, along with paper products, disposable cutlery.
The central heating worked very well (important in the cold mountains) but Paul also had extra blankets stocked in the closets. ps. we loved the blackout curtains haha. Overall, we hope to stay here again some day soon! Thank you again for making my husbands birthday a special weekend event!

This charming cozy yet spacious cabin has a beautiful wrap-around deck to take in all of nature's glory. Our stay is just what we were looking for and more. Big Tree State Park is a 5 min drive down the road. Paul was a wonderful host, and we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!

Cabin was in a great location and was very clean and spacious. Loved how there were all the extra everyday items in the kitchen (i.e. all condiments, coffee, plastic bags, aluminum foil etc.)

Perfect getaway for annual snow trip
Great cabin in the snow for our annual family snow trip. Well equipped with everything we needed, including kitchen ware, linens, games and even sleds. Fireplace added cozy ambiance, and hot tub is so soothing after a day in the snow. Easy drive to slopes, snow park and town. Easy parking in relatively flat driveway, and large garage. Host very communicative and responsive. Would book again!

Lovely Arnold Getaway
Nice location tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Fantastic property with lots of amenities (hot tub, sauna, wrap around porch, and heater vents that blow on your feet at the sink in the kitchen and bathroom 😍). Easy check-in and out. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a home in the Tahoe area where we can relax but my children can enjoy the snow. We didn't want to drive 4 1/2 hours to get there and was also concern about the people we could possibly come in contact with and this home was just far enough from the city but close enough to everything we needed. The owner was very responsive before and during the stay. The kitchen was fully stocked, had fast internet, Alexa available, streaming videos which we used, reclining couches, jacquzzi, and was a short drive to Skyline Bear Valley Resort and grocery store. We had a great time sledding in the back yard and building snowmans. I would stay here again.

Beautiful, very clean cabin with all amenities for a super enjoyable weekend. Comfortable beds, plenty of warm blankets, wood burning fireplace in living room, gas fireplace in main bedroom. Nest thermostat easy to use and make cabin warm and cozy. Everything needed in kitchen including regular coffee pot and Keurig. Fast internet for iMessage, streaming Netflix and Amazon Prime. Hot tub, sauna and huge bathtub in main bedroom. Adorable Christmas decorations. Everything felt like home. We will be booking this rental again.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Paul's house. The first thing we noticed was how clean it was, which is very important to us. Everything else was just as advertised as well. Excellent amenities....The dry sauna was amazing, brand new hot tub, gas stove, gas grill, wrap around deck, porch swing, huge indoor tub, very comfortable firm mattress in the master suite, flat screen smart TVs, and Alexa home units to play music. I had a couple questions after arriving at the house and Paul answered my texts right away. I highly recommend staying here!

Great hosts
Property and house was very nice and Paul was very responsive and helpful. Our only complaint was that deck and patio was covered in pollen and didn’t look like it was washed off for quite a while. We would have happily done it ourselves but we couldn’t find a hose.

Great family cabin!
This was a great place for our family to enjoy the outdoors and explore the surrounding area near Arnold. Kids had a lot of fun catching fish at White Pines Lake, exploring Utica Reservoir and visiting Columbia and the Moaning Caverns! The owners were very attentive and easy to communicate with. Great amenities and great location for our 4 night stay in Arnold!

Having been stuck in our apartment all of 2020, we were really looking forward to getting out in nature and enjoying Calaveras county for our first vacation in almost 2 years. Paul went out of his way to make us feel welcome and was available for any questions we had. The house was magnificent and kitchen well stocked for our group to prepare tasty brunches and dinners. We explored nearby lakes and wineries, enjoyed the large cabin patio, and slept well on the comfy beds! Would definitely book again, and are looking forward to making our Memorial Day trip up to Arnold area a tradition. Thanks!
