I want to leave a review that is as fair for the future customer as it for the host of the home. The communication process before and during with the host was great, he always answered quickly and was very accommodating. He was very reasonable to our requests and was excellent in our communication. The home is in a beautiful scenery, amazing for photoshoots or honestly just to relax. Outdoors are great for bbqs, fire pit, running and playing. The home was very bright and we felt it was divided well to meet everyone’s comfort. There are two things that stood out to us the most. Since it is New York, in the winter you only need heat and in the summer he installs A/C wall units. The listing did specify there was both A/C and heat. When we arrived it was in between winter and spring so the units hadn’t been installed. At night, no A/C is necessary. But on some days, it can get hot. The host did offer to place them while we were there. My only suggestion is to check the weather before your trip and confirm these details with host. Some people are not bothered by some heat throughout the day. Water tank: due to septic tank system, the water smells. We followed the instructions the paper said. But the smell is a bit strong, kind if like rotten egg, you can smell it while you shower and sinks of the home. We just ignored it and continued enjoying our time.Overall, we enjoyed the company, open space and comfort. It’s definitely affordable and beautiful for the area.

Host was responsive and attentive to our needs. Nice guy! Great place.

It was a smooth communication with the host started from the beginning. We love the space and chose it to host a memorial of a family member that just passed. The house is in a great design for gathering. The backyard and porch are in a perfect looking out to the green space/ woods. Morning and afternoon lights were perfectly aligned.

It was pretty good. Nice open space. A little dark indoors at nighttime and a few things were a little unclean (pots, dishes, utensils), and there were quite a bit of ladybugs upstairs in the master bedroom, but we kind of just dealt with it. The homeowner gave us some direction on how to clean the ladybugs up with a vacuum cleaner and on how to deal with the well water smell. Overall, it was good.
