No beach view. Could see water, just not the Gulf. Indoor pool was the biggest life saver for us, weather was cooler and extremely windy. Weather didn’t allow for much beach time, at least not as much as I wanted. Rooms were nice for our family of 4 adults and three kids. Make sure you bring everything you need or you will be shopping for it. Not enough TP, trash bags, no seasoning or spices, no water, no coffee, no welcome gift and nothing personal but the whole experience was not what we are used to for a weekly stay with VRBO.Hot tub was in need of repairs, not hot and jrys didn’t work real well. Outside pool was extremely cold and no one used it the whole week we were there. Lived Gulf Shores and would visit again.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our Condo, 402 at the Bel Sole was wonderful and very spacious for a family of 6. Beautiful view of lagoon right when you walk in. Private beach access was really nice and location was good distance from college spring break crowd. Major issue: the indoor pool and huge dock with ability to fish from and have boat access were not available, although pictured multiple times as rental selling points, and specifically described in listing ("bring your fishing poles!"). These, along with outdoor pool which was also unusable due to its FRIGID water even in mid-70s temps, were the big selling points for us choosing this place. Major let-down. Our sons planned on fishing from the dock all week and our daughter planned on swimming in the pools as much as possible. (heard other children stating they'd get frost-bite if they swam in the outdoor pool, which remained empty the duration of our stay because no one dared to go in it) Since hurricane happened 6 months prior, the dock and indoor pool should have all been listed as UNAVAILABLE. There is a lot to be said for transparency, and it is to be expected when a family invests significant money to vacation at a residence. Minor issue of outlets in kitchen not working and pads/pillows on deck not present, no carpeting in hallways, nails on floors/grounds. Again - minor issues were easy to overlook, but the major issues were heartbreaking for our kids who looked forward to them being a big part of their vacation. Understandable that everything wasn't fixed yet - but just be HONEST and state this in your listing.
