The property and location were top notch. The pool house and swimming pool were just what we needed to relax. Plenty of room for the entire family to stay comfortably. We plan on going back for sure!

We stayed here in this beautiful huge property for a week with our children and grandchildren for our Christmas in June celebration. This house was beyond awesome. The owners are super friendly and helpful. It was an absolutely perfect experience. You will love this place!!

Although all the family was not able to join us, we who were there really enjoyed our time at Murphy's Moutain. The home is a nice space, The views are great from each level. The front porch is great to seat and relax, sip coffee or a nice cool drink. We had cooler weather tan we thought we would so it was really nice to play games and cook together. All in I think my crew wouldn't mind going back at all. Kay

We went to the property for new year celebration with friends. This place is perfect getaway outside of busy city limits. With great ambience interior and exterior, this is a perfect place for vacation. It is located on mountains and the lake and Mountain View from the property is simply amazing. Host was very responsive. On our second day of the trip (out of 3), the water ran out for the city. With kids in the house and no water is a scary situation, but host made sure that we get the temporary water arrangement to get us going for toilet and kitchen. It was a bad start of the new year, and had to plan for early checkout, but it was made less painful by the host by giving us directions for early checkout, temporary water arrangement and promised one day refund for this uncontrollable incident. I have been to multiple vacation homes, and what is more important is responsiveness from the host and managing surprises remotely well. I recommend this place for its location, amenities and understanding host.

We loved this place with lake views from the open plan living room/dining/kitchen as well as the second living area upstairs and the master. The porch and decks were our favorite spots. We stayed the week after Christmas and lucked out with some very nice days for rising the golf cart around the 20 acres to explore. We had a slight issue with one bathroom that was unfortunate but just one of those things that happens and communication and response from owner was excellent. The three levels of the home, multiple tv watching areas, and kids bunk room made the house an excellent place for our large, multi-age crew to spread out and have fun. The kitchen was very well-stocked and the laundry area was large and made doing laundry a breeze (a must for our active family). We would love to come back for a warmer season experience!

We had 14 adults and 6 children ages 2-12. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep and hang out. The kitchen was perfect for up to 6-8 people to help cook or clean up. The pool was beautiful, clean and had plenty of toys for the kids. The diving board was loads of fun. The location is great and close to the state park. Every room was quiet and comfortable. Most amazing house to make our family feel at home. We had all we needed at the property for our 4 night stay. Absolutely beautiful and well-stocked property. Hoping to bring the family back for an annual stay.

With 16 people from 4-65 yrs., there was plenty of room and places to roam. The pool was wonderful. It was quiet except for the screams of fun by the kids. Great experience. The washing machine did not work properly but for most that would not be a problem. The golf cart had a flat worn tire. But over all it was great.

Great place to stay! We had a lot of family that wanted to get together after all of us got vaccinated. This was the perfect getaway. The pool and poolhouse are just fantastic and we swam every day. When they say the kitchen is fully stocked they mean FULLY STOCKED and not just a few cheap pots and pans. They even had a KitchenAid stand mixer. My 86 year old grandmother came with us and the golf cart was great to help her get between the main house and pool house. Host is super helpful and responsive. We'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Was a great location close enough to our wedding venue. Had plenty of room to house the whole wedding party.

Our ages ranged from 5-66 so was perfect for us. Pool was great for the kids and adults alike. Its located next to a 20 acre wooded area with trails for the kids to explore or use their golf cart to take the older adults up the mountain. Kitchen was great and restocked with common use items so we didn't have to run to store if we forgot something. Sleeping for 25 is possible and for less its really comfortable. We will return again Covid or no Covid. Terry and Jack are the owners and live just down the hill and are just good helpful type folks. I highly recommend. Mike

Excellent location for privacy, easy trip to the lake and local eateries. The owners are amazing and make your trip very easy.

Well-maintained. Very thoughtful hosts with nice touches of Homemade jelly, vine ripened tomatoes and peppers and the use of a golf cart for those who had mobility issues. Could have some features added that would make it more handicapped accessible. Overall we enjoyed the stay very much.

We had a group of 18 and this place was perfect! We had plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. We spent a lot of time on the lake but we enjoyed hanging out in the pool and grilling in the evening. Jack and Terri were wonderful hosts! We would love to come back!

We stayed at this property for a 30th birthday party. The house/cabana fit 19 of us comfortably. The pool was a fantastic spot for the party. Jack and Terri were so kind and also responsive and helpful. To top it all off the views of the lake were beautiful. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

The owners go above and beyond for their guests! All the details are attended to with a few extra surprises. Would love to stay here again.

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this lovely home. The entire property was immaculate! The grandkids loved the pool and the bunk bed room. We definitely hope to return!

The Murphey's Mountain property lived up to the online photos and written description. Thoroughly clean, and well equipped set this property apart. The layout of the buildings and grounds worked well with our family of 25. Of all the VRBO properties we have rented, no kitchen has been better equipped, including dinnerware, silverware, glasses and cups for all us. Plenty of pots and pans hung at the ready for us. We were thankful for the refrigerator and cupboard storage. The kitchen layout allowed several projects in progress at the same time while maintaining conversations with those in the adjacent living room. Great layout. The beds were comfortable, furniture was adequate, and comfortable. The buildings and grounds have a pleasant eye appeal. The parking area proved more than adequate for our 7 vehicles, not including a large two car garage. Plenty of storage exists both inside the buildings and in the garage. Everything works: lights, outlets, door locks, toilets, hot water, television, internet. We encountered not one problem with this property. The owners went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Many personal touches around the house demonstrated owners Terri and Jack Green's efforts to make our stay memorable from an abundance of toilet tissue to Terri's homemade strawberry jam. Each room in the house has a special appeal from wall decorations to the furniture. Lovely. The convenient laundry room and cleaning supplies came in handy every day. The house is situated on top of the hill which offers a gorgeous view of the lake from the magnificent living room picture windows and the beautiful covered porch. We spent a lot of time on the porch and decks. The small children spent hours each day on the playground equipment which included plenty of seating for parents. Each night we sat around the fire pit, enjoying the starry nights. The woods and trails provided memorable adventures for young and old. Our family fell in love with Murphey's Mountain and plan to return for another experience. Thanks Terri and Jack for making our family week together a time we'll never forget.
