It has been very fruitful We had plenty of room for us 14 adults to spread our for our team formation Enough of chairs and sofas to be comfortable for the two days we were there We enjoyed the property very much and would like to come again.

Our family had a fantastic weekend away at Gummara homestead. It is a very well set up, well maintained property which has spectacular 360° views and lots to do on the property itself. Highly recommend this accommodation!

A beautiful house with a wonderful view. We had a lovely stay with friends, in great comfort. The two little children with us loved the Lego and play equipment and being able to feed the property's farm animals. A great place!

It was better than expected. There was so much room. The tennis court the billiards the farm itself. There were 11 of us all ages and every person had a wonderful time there. I would recommend this place to any one who asked.

This property is brilliant and it’s owners clearly care about it. There’s nothing else you could want in a place really, I’d saw off limbs to own a place like this.

The property meets all possible needs for a family weekend away. The kids especially enjoyed the pool, tennis, badminton, table tennis, tv and indoor games. They also enjoyed Honey the horse, the sheep and watching the cattle and kangaroos. The parents relaxed together whilst the kids played. Ideal place for a large family get together.

House and views fabulous. The back verandah looking over the fields to the escarpment is the place to relax. Lots to do from table tennis, to basketball to pool. The dogs loved it too!

The property was as good as the photos. Large clean majestic farm house with every modern inclusion. In excellent condition. A pleasure for our whole family of 12 ppl.

The house and the setting was simply amazing. The tennis court, pool room and pool kept everyone very active throughout the weekend. The children liked feeding the animals, especially Honey the horse. The only disappointment was the cleanliness. There were lots of dead insects that had not been swept up and the bbq had not been cleaned properly after it’s last use. Small things but very important on an expensive property such as this.

Something for everyone , stunning environment . Lots of space and beautiful bedrooms . Pool , tennis , swimming , animals , walks . Something for every one from 2 to 60 . Highly recommend .

With an extensive clean and proper ongoing maintenance this property may be suitable to stay in with your family and dogs but not at present. At present It is dirty and poorly maintained even for a dog friendly property. Driving in one sees that the extensive garden and grounds are full of weeds, with weeds even growing in the bitumen driveway cracks. The paving around house and pool is presumably a white colour but heavily discoloured by black mould. The pool tiles are cracked and the pool is cold-I doubt the pool solar heating works. Hedges are mostly untrimmed and where trimmed the cuttings are left on the ground, not cleaned up. The outside of the house has mould and extensive cobwebs. Inside the house is also poorly maintained. Blinds are broken, tiles and grout missing, paint peeling, white carpet and white tiles dirty and stained, mould in shower recesses.

This is the second time we have stayed at Gumarra this year as an extended family. The house itself is large, and there is room for everyone without getting in the way of each other. We were a group of 10. The kitchen is extremely well set up, with all the appliances, cookware, glassware, platters, blender, bowls, utensils, etc. you would need. It is also very spacious, so accommodated lots of us preparing Christmas lunch at the same time. There was also a new large SMEG oven and cooktop which was great! There are so many activities available for all ages, such as the pool room, table tennis, swimming pool, tennis court, and a new outdoor game called Kubb, which was lots of fun. There are also lots of books, and some board games, PlayStation, and DVD's. We all had so much fun due to having these varied activities available to us. The grounds are well maintained and very beautiful. It is so peaceful and serene, and the views are stunning. Sitting on the back porch with a cold drink was lovely when it was quite hot, as there was a cool breeze due to the position of the house. We are all very grateful to be able to have this experience, and would like to thank the owners of the homestead for their generosity. Deb

This property was absolutely magnificent! The house, the grounds, the animals, facilities and serenity of the location made for a perfect birthday weekend with my family. We had everything we needed, the house was immaculate and the host was so helpful in the lead up to our stay. Thankyou for sharing your home!

Perfect place for a large family with a variety of activities to suit everyone.

This was an ideal place for our family group which included both active 40 somethings and active children and teenagers - the tennis court was well used when the weather allowed, as were the pool table and table tennis during the rainy periods. The house provided very spacious living areas and the well-set up kitchen earned top marks from the cooks in our group. The location of Gamarra is probably its biggest asset - wonderful views across fields to the Southern Highland escarpment and well away from suburbia.

A fantastic house for a large group of friends or family. Once you arrive there is no need to leave and you won’t want to. Beautiful 60 acre property. So many gorgeous places to sit in the garden. The house had everything you could possible need in the kitchen. We made good use of the Billard table, fireplace, firepit, pool and Tennis court. Had a lovely walk around the grounds and saw lots of wildlife including Kangaroos and Lyre birds. Feed the horse daily and collected the eggs.Great that there is late checkout on Sunday till 3pm.

This property was above our expectations. We had the most amazing time with family. The property gave us the chance to be together and yet plenty of room and things to do for everyone. Would highly recommend.

A well equipped spacious home with comfortable beds, tidy & clean & we all experienced a home away from home which was made our stay so special. We will definitely book again to stay at Gumarra Homestead.

Thank you sincerely to Gundarra Homestead for a wonderful family weekend. From the moment we drove up the driveway, opened the front doors, we were gob-smacked by the beauty of this property. The whole house is light and spacious with plenty of natural light streaming in. The beauty of the surrounding paddocks is visible from most rooms of the house. The bedrooms are sufficient with built in robes to most. One of the kids rooms even has a built in TV & games console…covered by locked doors if you don’t want your kids to use it. For us: we kept it locked… there was simply too much other things for them to enjoy. The house is so well equipped. From the kitchen: 90cm SMEG oven & every pot n pan you could want. This was important to us coz we cooked roasts, paellas and wotnot. Very well equipped in every aspect. There were so many books to choose from, as well as PlayStation / Xbox games. The garage (as well as housing 3 cars) has ping pong table, & is stocked with footballs, basketballs, tennis equipment / even boogie boards! The layout of the house encourages people to stay together and yet allows for time out privacy if that’s what you want. Mid morning AND afternoon tea on the back terrace overlooking the paddocks was most picturesque. We couldn’t fault this house, from the layout to the cleanliness :: even the throw rugs were so fluffy. Then there’s the property. Our group ranged from 5 to 82 yo. Everyone was enjoying the paddocks and patting the friendly horse. You will see kangaroos, guaranteed, as they gather in a few of the paddocks at different times. It was such a thrill to see the livestock and gather eggs from the chooks. Thank you to host Breanna for answering all my questions very promptly:: you were very helpful. Perfect location for our family get together. So much for the kids to do and see - tennis, pool, chickens, sheep, cows, horse, table tennis. Beautiful home with everything you could ever need for the perfect stay. Very well stocked kitchen. Great supply of everything. Heating was perfect. Outdoor fire pit icing on the cake. Amazing house and property offering plenty of space and actvities to keep everyone entertained. We were lucky to have perfect weather and the views from sunrise to sunset were spectacular. The house is great with everything you will need and more! Our group loved it and will definitely return in the near future!

We enjoyed every bit of our stay at Gumerra. Well maintained property facing the mountain ranges. Great for kids to run around. There are ample games to keep kids occupied. All facilities are as advertised. Had a great time and would definitely recommend this to friends.
