La ferme de la vallée

Excellent stay. Loved everything about it.Great host also.

Property was easy to find, we were a little early, but the farmer arrived on his tractor and checked us in. He made us very welcome offering tea or a cold beer. He spoke some English and I some French so we managed ok. He kindly called a restaurant to make a reservation for the evening meal for us. The room was clean and beds comfortable with a private bathroom. Breakfast was a selection of breads and croissants with fruit juice and tea or coffee.

The second morning the hostess forgot to provide butter with breakfast and we couldn’t find anyone to ask. Apart from that everything was good.

Arriving later than planned, we were delighted with the very accommodating hostess who allowed us to prepare a meal ourselves with some ingredients provided by her/ourselves. For a modest charge we also were able to acquire some beer and wine. It was lovely not having to search for a restaurant after a five hour drive, including a nightmare drive through Paris. What a unique establishment this is! Full of interesting furniture and memorabilia you will not find elsewhere. The bedroom was lovely as well. Breakfast, included in the modest stay charge, was fine, too. An excellent one night stay with off-road parking included.

Nothing.

The Location is Rural ,very quiet , with some farming activity noise. The bed was comfy and the shower was good. also off street parking.

The Breakfast consisted of just Toast, Jam , coffee and orange , After reading the previous reviews i was expecting something a little better
