Perfectly positioned getaway…Close to John’s Pass and just steps from the beach. The listing should offer a more detailed description and photos of the floor & room layout as this property is better than advertised. Other than the fire pit flaming (out of propane) out 20 minutes into lighting it was perfect.

Pros: very close to Johns Pass, approx a 3 to 5 minute walk, property was nicely decorated and clean and had plenty of everything you would need. Cons: there was road construction going on literally right outside the front door which was noisy and disruptive and could not sit outside, I should have been advised ahead of time. Downstairs bathroom was old and the shower did not work, so we all used the upstairs shower. Microwave tripped a fuse which knocked out half the kitchen including fridge and the back bedroom including ac. We searched everywhere for the breaker box which ended up being locked in a room behind the house. Vacasa gave us the runaround for 2.5 hours before agreeing to send somone to reset the fuse. They kept asking me to run around the house to look for the fuse box despite me telling them over and over that its not in the house, meanwhile the guy they sent used a screwdriver to pry open the back door. Honestly this was just aggrevating and because of these two issues I would not stay again.

The house had everything we needed! Beach supplies towels sand toys chairs…. You name it they had it! The description on Vrbo doesn’t begin to explain how close the house is to the beach entrance or how well stocked the house is to make your stay great! This is by far my favorite rental I have stayed in and we travel 3-4 times a year! We had an issue with a leaky ac and with in minutes of me notifying them I had message saying they where coming to fix it and no one had to be present… the issue was fixed right away. Very easy process and will definitely stay here again in the future

This cute, quirky and comfortable cottage was perfect for our family of five. The accommodation is just steps to the sand, and a very short walk to John’s Pass. It has been renovated and decorated tastefully and with a lot of care. It has the charm of an old-fashioned beach cottage, yet we found everything to be updated and in working order.

The property is ideally located, 1-2 min walk to the beach - easily done barefoot whirl holding chairs. The house is clean, well air conditioned, and had basic things like soap and towels to prevent wasting time and money at Publix like many rentals force you to do. The outside area is small but comfortable, the road noise noticeable at first but no a non issue. Johns pass boardwalk was a 5 minute safe walk. Restaurants in the walkable area are just ok, but that has nothing to do with the cottage! Also, 7 min drive from Publix and numerous other restaurants. I would definitely stay again!

This property was very clean upon arrival, stocked with amenities, super close to the beach, lots of amazing restaurants near by, and John’s pass for shopping, renting water crafts and food options. The beach is gorgeous with beautiful blue-green water and white sand that doesn’t get hot! The house itself is old but clean and well decorated. The layout downstairs is tight and small. The kitchen and eating area are super small for real eating and sitting. Seating for 4 but very tight. The second floor is more open and great for relaxing. The main issue for us was the loud, busy road next to the house and the empty parking lot on the side of the house. The empty parking lot gets full of beach parking which means lots of noise, parking lot parties, motorcycle rallies and a teen hang out spot. John’s pass across the street plays band music which will work for people who enjoy loud music and party type atmosphere with the parking lot. If you are looking for more quiet and peaceful, you should know this before booking or at least ask questions. It’s a busy area with lots of people but a beautiful beach.

We’ve stayed at a few different properties in the Treasure Island area and this is our favorite so far! This place is less than a 1/4 mile walk to John’s Pass and about 100 yards from the beach. The property itself is clean and spacious and has everything you need for a vacation to the beach. Beach chairs, umbrellas, wagon, coolers, boogie boards, frisbees, etc can all be found in the storage shed adjacent to the home which is a huge plus! This place was perfect for our family of four! We will definitely be looking to stay here again next time we are in the area!

Travelled as a family of four and had lots of space and was very nice overall. Location can’t be beat as it was literally just a few steps to the beach without paying a premium to be on the beach.

I’ll be honest with everyone, Im one of those people that can *usually* find something wrong or a downfall/shortcoming in some regard… This property made that virtually impossible for me! This was a combined birthday/mothers day/Father’s Day gift to my mother and father in law, they love Florida and are always excited for a trip as we are. (There were 4 of us staying)
My mother n law actually commented that “this by far, is the cleanest rental property I’ve ever stayed in” At the end of the day, everything was wonderful from a housing and location standpoint. With the beach literally being a few steps away was HUGE for us.
I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again and would encourage ANYONE to do the same. Thank you for everything and thank you for the memories that we will remember for a lifetime!

This is a very nice two bedroom house in a good neighborhood located within a 5 minute walk to John's Pass and an even closer walk to the beach. The house has all you could ask for if you want to make meals at home, even a gas grill. There are beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, etc. and a wagon to take all the items to the beach. There is a nice sitting area outside the front door with a gas fire pit. The inside is very nice and there are numerous stairs leading up to the family room and more leading to the bedroom with bunk beds. There was more than enough room and places to sleep for a family of seven. We would stay here again if we make it back to the area.

We loved the location. The beach was steps away and the ability to walk into John’s Pass was awesome. It was very convenient! Communication with Vacasa is very easy to do and everyone was very accommodating. One thing that would be excellent is purchasing a new queen size mattress for the third floor bedroom. A full size is small for a couple and the mattress is not very comfortable. Loved the outdoor area with the fire table. We used it every morning for coffee and every evening after dinner as well!

Better & Better!
This was our 2nd spring break (March 2021 & March 2022) staying in this home. We are a family of 5 (with 3 boys; ages 13, 10 & 7) and it was perfect! We had other families staying in the area at nearby condos/hotels & we had, by far, the best set up! A full kitchen, washer/dryer, tons of space that even when we were all there, we weren't on top of one another, a shed with beach items to borrow, a (very) short walk to John's Pass & literally steps from the beach. I can't say enough great things about this home! We flew into Tampa, got an Uber, had groceries delivered and walked everywhere we wanted to go. We didn't need to rent a car, as this house is the PERFECT spot for everything. We can't wait to book for March 2023!

Wow! Just had an amazing week with my family at Sol Mate Cottage. The house is so clean and has every you need. The beach shed with all the toys, chairs and umbrellas was nice too. We walked everywhere, no need for a rental. Steps to the beach, no roads to cross and directly across from Johns Pass. The hose is decorated so nice and the owner’s bedroom separated from the rest of the bedrooms was nice too. Kitchen was fully stocked. The fire pit outside on cool nights was perfect. Can’t wait to come back!!! Thank you for making our stay perfect!!!

This house is in a perfect location for a 2 minute walk to the beach and less than 5 minutes walking to John’s Pass boardwalk. House comfortably slept our party of 6 and we enjoyed hanging out there on our 1 rainy day. We definitely will look to stay here again.

We loved the cottage feel of our rental.
Everyone was very clean and tidy. The layout worked well for both alone and together time.
We stayed three weeks and enjoyed our location which enabled us to walk to many restaurants and stores. Also just steps away from the Beach.
Our weather was less than desirable but we made the best of it!!
