The location was amazing, the staff were incredibly helpful with my extra requests and helping me switch rooms after I forgot to book enough nights! Couldn’t be more accommodating and kind. Thank you!

Literally only down side was the steep staircase but they help with bags!

Quaint building and fantastic location on the canal

The stairs were crazy steep and narrow but it also added to the experience. We were desperate for a coffee before we left but the machine can only be used from 9am!

Great location, comfortable room and excellent staff.

It was in a great location walking distance to many museums and restaurants. It was right on a canal so fairly quiet. The staff was wonderful Paolo and Manuel were exemplary! They really took very good care of us! Helped us with dinner reservations and even chilling some prosecco for us. They made the stay worthwhile.

The location of the hotel was the best aspect of the place. The exterior is lovely. The service was very good and friendly, even the use of the virtual assistant was a good experience. I mean its a real person, he/she are just not on the premises. The warning about the narrow and steep stairs was appreciated and its 100% accurate. No large bags and small feet would be helpful too.

Top floor room on the rear of the building was very small, even by European standards. Same for the bathroom - tiny. The bed took well over 50% of the floor space and although the design was trying hard to be efficient - it was just too small and not helped by the sloping walls cutting down on headspace. No coffee maker in the room was a miss; going down the many narrow and steep stairs to the lounge for a coffee was not convenient at all. It was on the expensive end so my expectations were of a night in a canal side house, but it was more like spending the night in an IKEA decorated attic/loft with a view of unattractive rooftops. Maybe the other rooms were different, but this was my experience.
