Clean relaxing

Quiet, comfortable place to stay. Excellent dining facilities nearby. Comfortable bed, clean and modern. Garden furniture provided for resting and dining. Private car park.

Nothing. I couldn’t rate the staff. We haven’t seen any.

The room was lovely a big. Beds and linen fresh and clean. We were not there long enough to explore the rest of the property but had a small outdoor play area for smaller kids, an outdoor area to have a drink with beautiful views. A key was left with a number for us to contact if needed. They were quick to answer when I had a query and arrived quickly to resolve.

There as a slight damp smell. However, it was clean. The travel cot I booked was not there when I arrived, again this was dealt with swiftly.

The room was fine, all clean inside. Suitable for me as a disabled guest. Ground floor, wet room type shower. Beautiful setting and convenient for Aberystwyth. There was a conservatory we could use to sit or eat food.

No map to find room, or explanation of set up on arrival. Obstacles (black bags, hoover and implements in the middle of corridor, and specifically in front of our room door), leaving us unsure what to do. No one around. Had to phone another site for assistance. There was a small kitchen area in the conservatory, with dishes. But no sinc o'r soap and tea towel to wash them. So posed a problem for washing up, as they specifically said they were to be left clean. Had to carry to room, with difficulty as I'm on sticks or wheelchair, wash, dry and return. Made us wonder if the dishes we had used were as clean as they should be. The staff turned up before checking out time, and watched us struggling with luggage. No offer to help. Most places we stay are much more helpful. All in all, not a welcoming feeling. Teething problems maybe? As I think they were just switching to offsite servicing. But I have to admit, I was very uneasy.
