Location was best, undercover parking and lift to second floor great, as we are elderly. The beds and pillows were first class. The bathroom was very modern and large. No noise in complex.
The hotel is in need of some maintenance. Shutters on windows broken and do not shut out the light.
The fridge was our main problem. Because we stayed for 1 week we needed to keep milk, drinks, cheese etc cold. The fridge is not adequate and barely keeps things cool, let alone cold. We had to go and buy an esky and ice as manager said there was nothing he could do. These fridges need to be looked at as we were told they are new and been replaced in all rooms.

The location was a short walk to the esplanade, very close to the hospital so there were a few sirens during the night which were very loud. Room was huge, clean but a little dated and sparsely decorated so it echoed. Great for the one night we were there.

I liked that I got a newly renovated room. The location was OK, and it is close to the RSL Club.
The place is being updated, but it is a motel, not a hotel. My main feedback is the the mattress was as hard as a rock. Old bones and joints struggle with hard mattresses. My arthritis hated me for it. Also, plantation shutters look good but are not good for keeping out light at night. Drapes preferred.
