It was good location, convenient to the main attractions

The room was average, and unfortunately, one of the back-door locks was not closing properly. Reception told us it was okay because it wasn’t the main entrance and the room was in the basement. However, the basement window is directly accessible from outside, so someone could potentially enter quite easily. We raised this safety concern with the staff because we were staying as a family with children, but they said it could be fixed in the morning. We didn’t feel this was an appropriate response to a security concern. Also, the staff could have been more welcoming and friendly, as they rarely smiled or showed much warmth. Overall, the room was average, but the security issue was disappointing and should have been taken more seriously.
