The hotel was great. We enjoyed the friendly personel and they gave us a comfortable stay. A very clean room which has a lot of attention in decoration. Reallly nice! The restaurant serves creative and tasty dishes.

The village of Otterndorf is very small and in the evening everything is closed. Luckely the hotel has all the service you need.

bathroom was a little bit smelly in the beginning, but after airing the room it was gone - please don’t charge 5€ for the things …

- Really nice hotel situated right next to Medem. Hotel is generally really cozy and stylish and in beautiful surroundings. - The receptionist (Julian) was really friendly and helpfull and knew a lot about the area. - Nice and varied breakfast buffet.

- The fitness room justy consists of 3 cardio machines in a small basement room. - Waiters in the restaurant seemed stressfull and not that professional.

The hotel has an excellent restaurant with both delicious dinner and a great breakfast selection. Staff is friendly and rooms are spacious with a nice view.

I found the hotel rather overpriced - these prices seem to befit a major tourist city rather than an out-of-the-way location like Otterndorf (although perhaps the prices make more sense if you make use of the spa facilities, for which I had neither interest nor time). I also found the rooms underlit: I had to rearrange some furniture before I was actually able to read a book from my chair.
