Our family of 5, our friends family of 4, and 2 sister puppies had a great weekend away last month. The updated and fully stocked kitchen, wood burning fireplace, 2 living and kitchen areas, game and puzzle selection, kayaks and paddle boat, outdoor fire pit and basketball hoop, bunk beds, and the beautiful flat lot leading up the the lake with sunset views were some of the highlights for us. There was a bar and grill close to the property, and most everything else was within a 20min drive. We would definitely stay here again, and appreciate the easy communication with the owner.

The property is as described. We found the rental clean and well maintained with some clearly newer upgrades. The owner/property manager was available, responsive and accommodating.
The kitchen is large and well appointed. The lake is clear with a sandy bottom and a shallow depth for a long way out. Nice wood burning fireplace and outdoor fire pit.
Overall a very good experience in a very nice rental. Highly recommend.

6 friends in their 70s! The cabin worked out very well for our group. It was very well equipped, everything you could want you could find in the cabin. In addition, life jackets, oars, kayaks and canoes were available. The owner was very easy to work with and very accommodating for our last minute needs. Will return!

Beautiful sunsets, enjoyable piers and water, plenty of room for all. Well stocked kitchen. Flat approach to the water, which was good for older and younger folks. Very helpful & kind owner. Had everything we could wanted, except our visit went too fast. Would rent this one again for sure.

We had 13 of us for our family vacation to Hayward and a great time was held by all. Our three youngest grandsons had fun catching fish off the pier, while our older two took some time with grandpa and went out into the boat. The kayaks were another hit with our adult kids. The house was big enough for all of us and we enjoyed the fire pit and sunsets. Although we had a few spurts of rain showers the games at the house provided fun times too. The only downfall was the mosquitoes, but that is no fault of the home owner. All in all it was a great spot to enjoy our family time together.

Our family group of 13 had a great time here. Plenty of space/seating, well-furnished and everything worked well. Interior was generally very clean. Very responsive host and everything is as it's advertised.
Great Northwoods setting on a nice section of the lake The lakeside area and yard was fantastic, with shallow/sandy area for swimming and launching kayaks etc. Dock was more than adequate for our two 19' boats. Fire pit is large with plenty of seating. Best lake in the Hayward area for boating too.
The exterior of the house and outdoor furniture could have used a good power washing though, as there were tons of spiderwebs, with a wasp nest right at the front door. Living room carpet looked ok, but needed a deep cleaning.

Very nice place with plenty of room. The kids loved all the games. The adults enjoyed the stay. Kitchen was nicely supplied and nice appliances.
My only issue is that the driveway was steep and we needed to use our all wheel drive car after a snowfall.

This property was not ideal for us because we had so much snow it was impossible to turn out vehicles and trailers around in the driveway. We had to back out trailers up a steep driveway to get out of there. Other than that it was great!!

A group of us came up to snowmobile. The trail was right on the middle of the lake behind the home! Couldn't have been happier with this home! Management was very accommodating and responsive to any of my inquiries. We will definitely come back!

We had a large group that crossed 4 generations and we all had a great time. The property accommodated our group, both indoors and outdoors (including parking) without feeling cramped or crowded. There is a very large front yard at lake level. We could spread out inside in the main cabin and the upstairs area. The property was very well stocked with everything we needed. including cookware, dishes, paper products, storage containers, towels and linen. The lake is very clean and the beach is sandy but water shoes are helpful due to the rocky shore.

Fun in the Sun
Easy to reserve and the property met our needs perfectly. It is so convenient to have a level property that meets the water, it made boating, swimming and jet skiing easy. We will be back!

Family Vacation
We were looking for something to do for all ages. The little ones wanted to swim and the teens wanted to fish. We got to do some of both. We rented a pontoon from Runamuk Rides which was enjoyed by all. It was cooler weather than expected but no control over that. Watch out for the bears!

The property had plenty of space for everyone in our group. Seems like it would be a great place for summer with lake level house and location.

Perfect spot for what our family needed. Great kitchen for cooking and serving. Would recommend for families looking to spend time together and have space to spread out as well. Nice to be able to have the family dogs too!

Perfect for large groups!
We had a wonderful stay at this property. The Fall colors were beautiful when we were there in October and the house is close to the adorable main street area in Hayward. The home had a separate space that was perfect for the teenagers, they had their own space with an eating are and huge TV to watch movies and play video games. My only very small issue was the early check out time on Sunday, it's difficult to get packed and going with a big group by 9AM. Having said that, we were offered a late check out by the property owner for a small fee, we will take that option next time! Would highly recommend this location, I'd love to stay there in the Summer with all of the toys and great outdoor space on the lake.

We just got finished with our stay with our Grandkids and Children. and to sum it up, when you feel a little sad that it is your last day, it must have been a good time. It was. Our family had a good time enjoying the sandbar and the lake. The cabin and property was just as described. We appreciated that when Kristi has improved the property, she chose to do so with better quality items such as a really nice and solid dock that felt safe, heavy silverware, nice plates, a good gas grill, and etc.
Enjoyed the variety of water toys, especially the kayaks.

We had the best time! The house was great and was perfect for my family of 5 (my husband and I and two 4yo's and a 6yo) and my mother and father-in-law. We could have had more! The kitchen was well stocked with quality kitchenware and the kitchen had just been redone. There were games for the kids. There was a great corn hole game. The kids fished off the dock for lots of small pan fish. They were never bored! There was a great flat area leading to the lake for the kids to play in and find frogs. There was a great sand bar just north of the cabin which was great for swimming. Fishing was great but they turned off after the storm. We enjoyed ourselves so much we are looking to buy in the area. Kristi was fantastic and very responsive although we didn't have many issues at all. We will be booking again for next year!

Lake fun!
We had a fantastic time at this property. Loved the fishing, tubing, boating, kayaking and paddle boating. It was very comfortable and was the perfect fit for our family. The level lot was a huge plus. The host did a great job thinking of all the little details.

Kids had a lot of fun-great outdoor location with small beach and shallow water. Plus Great Lake to tube on. Property was nice and clean-remodeled kitchen was a plus! Owner was very helpful

This was an excellent place to stay with our large family of 16. It had enough space to accommodate all of us. We were able to fit all of our food into the two refrigerators so we could keep our coolers in the nice entry way to keep them cooler and use less ice. Everything we used, from towels to silverware was brand new and in excellent condition. The air conditioning kept up with the hot weather and it was awesome to have a washer and dryer on site. This house had everything we could ask for on the inside and so much on the outside. It had a nice deck, a flat and spacious yard, a fire pit next to the lake so you could sit and roast a s’more while still enjoying the beauty of the lake.
