Perfect getaway for ocean views in a private and peaceful setting. Comfortable, first rate cottage and best we have ever rented. Plan to return for sure.

Our stay at Searenity Cottage was perfect. As others have mentioned is was immaculately clean and well fitted out. The views were fabulous and even on cloudy, foggy days there was a comforting feeling that inspired one to read, nap, or do a bit of sightseeing. Kristopher was cheery and helpful even though we never had the chance to meet him face to face. Sadly we had to leave a few days earlier than expected due to a doggie emergency back home but we will be sure to come back. We left rested and restored.

One of the best VRBO experiences we have had, and my family have stayed at 20+ properties all over the country. The owner Kristopher was incredibly kind and communicative. The house was very clean and fully stocked. Had everything we needed to steam our lobsters which were only $6 per pound from the dock right down the road called Look Lobster. Of course the best part is the view. Simply amazing!

Kristopher was great to communicate with for weeks before arrival. Upon arrival, he was just headed out from the property. Very friendly, kind, helpful.
The house is immaculate. Great space for a retreat from our busy lives. The view cannot be put into words GORG. I would move in every summer if I could!
The fog stayed with us for days, so we made day trips to local state parks and lighthouses. Fantastic!

Lovely clean and well supplied cottage. Comfortable king size bed and furniture. Property was well maintained and included amazing large yard that birds frequented with easy access to the beach. Terrific deck with comfortable chairs and fantastic vista of ocean and shoreline which was not blocked by trees. A bonus was having the landlord next door who was always willing to answer questions or assist us. Only thing that would make this perfect is a larger smart TV that sits low to the front window and cable/internet that would allow us to watch FOX Business News and football games. Best cabin we have rented in upper Maine coast in the last 15 years. Highly recommended it.

The house and property were immaculately clean and well maintained. An immature bald eagle landed on a tree in front of us as we gazed over the sea. Everything was picture perfect.

Our family loved our stay. The house and property were beautiful and private. The ocean views from this property are amazing. We really enjoyed playing in the tide pools, swimming in the sandy beach up the road, and going for nature walks in the nearby island preserve. Great local food as well.

Tranquil Escape!
Special attention was evident in this most peaceful cottage.
Every room was set up to enjoy the tranquil scenery.
Communication with Kristopher was on point.
The cottage was immaculate! The Adirondack chairs by the ocean were placed at such a peaceful setting.
Sitting on the most beautiful deck while watching the seals swim by and the humming birds hover back and forth . This place soothes your soul! Oh and the smell of the beach roses!
This is the most perfect place to relax and recharge.
Watching the most beautiful sunrises every morning, falling asleep to the breathtaking blanket of stars. The shooting stars were amazing. We loved hearing the sounds of the ocean waves.
Kristopher has the cottage set up so perfectly and very well equipped , right down to the soft sheets and comfortable bed that it made it very difficult to leave. This magical place has left very special footprints in my heart. This is a memory that I will hold on to forever! Thank you Kristopher for sharing this special place.

Beautiful sunrises!!
This is one of the most peaceful and tranquil locations that I have ever stayed. The sunrise and night stars were amazing. The property was clean and had everything we needed. Kristopher was very responsive and takes great care of the property. We saw seals a couple of days, but wished they had stayed a little longer. We also saw the large eagle fly over a few times.

This very clean and cozy house is nestled into a quiet harbor. You can watch the spectacular views change from the bed, couch or in an Adirondack chair by a fire. There are beautiful places to hike or visit nearby. Be sure to bring what you need, you will not want to leave.

Excellent remote cottage with absolutely gorgeous views.
We couldn’t have had a better or easier experience renting here. The views are amazing and the cottage is perfect. It is cozy and comfortable. It’s has plenary of space and is fitted with everything you need to stay in and enjoy the views.

You'll love the privacy, quiet & view
We will definitely return! Very quiet with awesome sunrises. Watch the lobster boats from the deck, the couch or even while in bed. The place was spotless and had all the little extras that make a stay hassle-free. Kristopher, the owner saw to everything.
Great hiking in the area. about 2 hours from from Acadia hikes. Wass Island preserve only 10 minutes away and Machias about 15 minutes. Leave the noise and crazies behind and stay in this tucked away cottage.
