We loved our stay on the island. The house is just as nice and clean as the pictures. The lake and island are beautiful. The neighborhood was very quiet. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond. The house had everything we needed and more. The ferry made it difficult to do things in the city, and they fill up early, but we knew that getting into it. Next time we would stay put on the island and have everyone visit us rather than visiting them. There’s really no reason to leave. We highly recommend this house.

10 out of 10. This is a five star rental. The island is a peaceful get away. The experience of being on the water either on a boat sailing or dock outside this amazing rental. Just perfect.

My company rented the house for a project we had on the Island. When I arrived I loved it so much that I had to have my wife come up and stay over the weekend. We definitely recommend this during the summer months.

The home was exceptional. There are a number of impressive amenities in the home. There is a real pride to the renovation and upkeep up the property. It’s in a very quiet neighborhood. The lake is pristine and the use of the boat and kayaks made my kids very happy. The kitchen is fully stocked with almost everything you need to bake, cook, and serve a meal. The house was absolutely spotless when we arrived. The beds were quite comfortable. My favorite part was the great deck that were about to hang out and take in the view. Just a couple inconveniences: the grill had a gas leak at the connector of the tank and the regulator. We let the property owner know, and he said he would have his maintenance person look at it, so I would assume it will be fixed before anyone else stays. The backyard was great and a good place for kids to play, but there was a considerable amount of goose droppings, which is understandable do to the wildlife near the lake, but someone should be careful when walking out there. We also had an issue with the external garbage and recycle bins being full when we got there, but the property owner was understanding and said his cleaning person would take care of it. Overall, I would recommend this property to anyone that wants to have a lovely, quiet, laid back rental experience with their families on a gorgeous lake on an amazing Pacific Northwest island. Be sure to check the ferry schedule and arrive early. Also, bring your groceries as the general store is limited and pricey. But it is absolutely worth it.

The island is a terrific get-away, and the owners made us feel right at home, letting us use their kayaks and bikes. Would love to stay here again!

We had a great stay at The Lake house during Winter break. The house is being completed renovated and feels brand new. The kitchen and living room have plenty of room to relax on rainy days while enjoying the gorgeous view of the lake. The kitchen is fully stocked and is great for cooking and baking, but we did miss a toaster for breakfast. The house has a huge deck, but unfortunately all the furniture and gas firepit are in storage until June. We had hoped to enjoy the firepit on the cold sunny days we had during our stay. So we hope to come back later this year to enjoy the outdoor facilities. Across the street there is a small playground with a zipline that our kids enjoyed
