What a great place for the family. The condo is about as well thought out as it could be. First floor was perfect for the kids and can’t beat the view. Can’t wait to go back!

The condo was beautifully renovated. A ground floor unit in a smaller building with a private beach that had all of the amenities without the crowds. It was a good location with access to restaurants. Cabinets were well labeled so we didn't have to search for items. It was a great trip and we will return.

This location cannot be beat! Even though it’s a first floor unit. It’s built up high and views are wonderful. The recent renovation is fantastic. Everything has a place and there are so many hooks for towels and wet suits, etc. Peyton put a lot of love into this place, and you can tell. The bunk area is so spacious and well-thought out with plugs, wall lamps and a little nook. The 2 separate toilet and sink area was really convenient, even though there is only 1 shower/tub. The master is cozy and the new built-in closets are perfect for vacation. The kitchen is well appointed and had everything we needed to cook at the condo. The sofa was comfy and spacious for our family of 3 to spread out. The beach chairs are literally a 1 minute walk from the condo, so it’s super convenient to run back up for more snacks or the restroom. Easy and ample parking (in October). Oh, and everything is labeled so you know where to store things! We loved it and will definitely be back.

Everything about our vacay was easy & effortless. Peyton checked on us before, during & after our stay at the Salty Shack. So much attention to details in this unit. Plenty of storage, lots of hooks for hanging stuff and labels on cabinets/drawers (telling contents) are a few features that help keep things tidy & organized. Decor has a beachy feel without being "overdone". Lots of cool features in the hallway bunk area. Each bed has an outlet for charging devices & a nook for storage, plus a reading light. Also a tv that is visible for both beds. Would definitely recommend the Salty Shack!

We got to Crystal beach annually, this has to be my favorite condo yet! Every inch in the condo is maximized with the clever layout and use of storage. The decor had enough seating and open layout to allow everyone to comfortably hang out in the kitchen and living area. This is definitely one I will try to rent again.

What a wonderful vacation! Our Salty Shack was awesome. It was comfortable with all the conveniences of home, it was beautifully decorated and clean. The convenience to the beach was spot on. Family of 5, to include our 22 year old daughter, 15 year old son and 11 year old daughter. Plenty of space, smart and attractive updates, useful features, conveniently located for loading and unloading personal items from car to unit and the first floor beach access is beyond amazing. The kitchen is well equipped, everything worked and the filtered water saved us so much time lugging around water bottles! Perfect in every way! We have definitely found our spot for years to come! Oh, and Peyton reached out a few days prior to our arrival to go over everything and confirm our stay. We keep tin close communication during the entire stay and she was beyond helpful. Thank you again for the wonderful week!

From the moment you walk into this condo you can notice all the little details that this condo has. The owners must of walked through the condo and literally put themselves in their guest perspectives and thought how they could make everything comfortable and convenient for their future guest and they nailed it. Everything was well constructed and the attention to detail was very nice. We got some rainy days and my husband said he did not minded staying stuck inside the condo for days from how much he liked it. Peyton is very friendly, and you can tell even from the call we received a few days before our stay. We’ve stayed in Crystal sands condos for 3 years in a row and this condo has been our favorite stay by far, totally, totally recommended!

Fresh new remodaled condo, extremely well organized with all the necessary amenities that made our stay amazing! Love that is right on the beach. The owners thought of everything to make sure our experience was uncomparable. Felt just like home! Highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to relax, rest, and enjoy a beautiful beach lifestyle. The beach was amazing, and glad we were able to get an umbrella and chairs every day as part of the included services.

We have visited Destin many times and this was our favorite stay. The convenience to the beach was so great for our 3 kids. Peyton is the only host that has ever called me before and after to check in. Great condo!

This is the first VRBO property that looks better in person than the pictures. This remodeled condo is beautiful and the location to shops is perfect. The first floor access to the beach is absolutely amazing! The views and sounds from the ocean are stunning. We will definitely be back!

By far, Peyton is the absolute best property manager to deal with. She did regular check ins to make sure everything was ok and to make sure we didn’t have any concerns. She was extremely quick in responses when texted no matter the time or day. Hands down I will stay at her property again. Not only is she great, the condo is absolutely beautiful. So clean. All new renovations.

This is an amazing beach condo (first floor on the beach), Payton is an amazing host and everything about this rental is top of the line!
No short cuts taken during renovation, beautiful and welcoming. As real state goes, Location, location, location.
All amenities and stores are just a 5 minute-drive, we rarely left the condo, the kitchen is so, so nice that everyone wanted to cook. No need to drag your cooler 5 blocks on hot days, the umbrella and 2 beach chairs are right there in front of the condo ready for you, we rented another umbrella and two more chairs and every morning there was our set up, 20 feet from the water with our name on it, waiting for us, WHAT A BLAST!

The best view, super clean, tons of storage space so you don’t have to live out of your suitcase, easy access to everything, and the friendliest owner, Five Salty Souls has it ALL!! Peyton called me about a month before our trip to discuss any questions that we may have had about the condo or the area. She provided recommendations for dining and fun! And was always just a call or text away. Arriving at the condo, we were stunned by the amazing view! It’s even better than the photos! It was super convenient to back up to the front door and roll our suitcases right in. The condo is newly remodeled and there was just soo much attention to every detail. They really thought of everything. The stairs to the beach are STEPS away from the back door. Our time here was magical. We sat on the back porch and watched the waves and dolphins while drinking our coffee every morning. Just choose this one. You won’t regret it.

If you’re considering this condo, just do it!! Everything about it was absolutely perfect! You can tell the owners paid close attention to all the details. The renovations are beautiful! It was fully stocked with everything we needed for indoor/outdoor cooking. Being only steps away from the beach was so nice. Peyton reached out ahead of time and was in contact during our visit, checking in to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We will definitely back!

We had a wonderful experience. Working with Payton was delightful. She was always very helpful and answered any questions promptly. She rearranged things to accommodate us. We have been coming to Crystal Sands for 10 years. This recently renovated condo is great. Clean, convenient and beautifully done. The location can not be beat. Great crowd control and beach service. Remember to tip. The beach is literally steps out your patio door!! FANTASTIC. Our daughter and her family stayed in a different condo and it was great to be close and have easy access to them. It was a great place and Payton is wonderful to work with.

Fantastic place to stay! Clean, well maintained (newly renovated). Chose this place because of the easy access to beach,pool and grill.Inside very nice roomy. We had 4 people and were quite comfortable. Kids beds great with TV. All around 5 stars in my opinion and my family would agree. Can’t wait to stay again next year or sooner. Thanks

If you want to treat yourself to a fantastic oceanfront vacation, this is the place! The unit is beautifully renovated, and the owners have thoughtfully and lovingly designed the space with an eye for style and function. Everything is immaculate and perfectly organized. The kitchen has everything you need, including an instant pot, ninja blender, and new coffee maker. Owners have installed a reverse osmosis water system, so you have filtered water. Beds are very comfortable, and there is plenty of storage space for all your stuff. This is the perfect setup for a family. The manager Peyton was communicative and handled any questions I had within minutes. Lastly, I must mention the beautiful ocean view - when you walk outside, you are on the beach! What a wonderful spot for a vacation, I hope we are able to return, thank you Peyton!

The property didn’t disappoint. The location is perfect. You are literally in front of the beach and 2mins walk to the shore. It comes with beach chair and umbrella which is perfect while staying in the beach. Peyton is also top notch! Everything was smooth and she even let us come in 2hrs early and leave an hour late! We have stayed at this property before, but this was our first time staying at the unit. We will be back! The communication prior, during, and post-stay was second to none. Peyton took time to quickly answer the many questions I had prior to my trip which was a huge help in planning my stay and packing. She was prompt in providing us with check-in details and extra tips for our stay. She checked in with us regularly. The unit was decorated nicely - modern touches, everything organized well, and thoughtful touches like luggage racks and plenty of hallway and door hooks for our bags and towels. The style and layout of the furniture were appointed well to make our family trip enjoyable. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals. I can't say enough good things about our experience!
