Our stay at Casa Castillo was incredible! Our family was blown away by everything the villa had to offer, including ocean views from every room. Our host was wonderful to work with, and the staff were fantastic in doing everything they could to make our stay feel like a true vacation. Getting to and from the villa can feel like an adventure, but the location is worth the dream views and the close proximity to beaches and local attractions. I would 100% recommend Casa Castillo! The property was beautiful and perfect for our group of 9. Lots of wildlife and loved the common areas of the home for gathering. The concierge was wonderful in helping plan activities and coordinating with the chef. The pool was sparkling clean and so refreshing after a day of adventure. Loved everything about the home and our trip.

This house is much bigger and nicer than the photos suggest. Big living spaces, each bedroom is great and has its own bathroom. The views from the terrace, the living room and from every bedroom is unbeatable. And you're at the level of the canopy so you see wildlife right outside your window/terrace. Mauricio met every need we had and was highly responsive. And absolutely get one of Mauricio's chefs! Ours was Jerald and his son Sebastian - the meals were amazing, and no more expensive than going out to a restaurant. Only challenge was that the house is at a bottom of a steep hill which was a bit of an obstacle (admittedly mental rather than physical) to coming in and out, either by car or walking. Nonethelss, come for the luxury, and for the views. You won't be disappointed.

We arrived late. Mauricio was very frustrated with us. We got delayed and had no cell service so we couldn’t contact him. He told us how disrespectful we were. That got us off to a poor start. The villa is nice but there are screens without windows so the common areas are very hot. The downstairs shower didn’t work. Two other showers didn’t drain. There is a washer and dryer for the maid but we couldn’t access it. The maid will do it but we couldn’t do that the last day so we packed wet swimsuits.There was no ice or ice cube trays. The last night was pouring rain so we asked him to set up delivery for dinner. He was in a rush to play soccer so gave us a contact to send our order too. After an hour and a half we didn’t have it but he said it takes time. An hour and a half after that we texted and he discovered the contact we sent it to never placed the order. He suggested pizza that would be faster but by now it was late and we had an early flight so we said never mind. He did have two pizzas sent to us free of charge. We had a storm break a tree branch that blocked the bridge to the property. I alerted him at 8 am. At 5 pm he replied the maintenance man had already left. At one point the maid came and when we came back from our excursion the door had been left open with all of our belongings inside. Just a lot of issues.
