the views were outstanding from each and every room

we had an elderly couple with us, and found the couches a little to low to the ground. the small double beds are not ideal for adults either. lack of extras, blankets, toilet rolls, washing up liquid, bin bags , dishwasher tablets, we always rent large houses in Ireland, and it is nice not to have to worry about shopping for household products for our stay.

location and facilities were fantastic

The location was excellent. 10 minute drive from Westport. Spectacular views of Croagh Patrick and Clew Bay. The house had a great layout with plenty of space for guests to relax in comfort. Very comfortable beds and a wonderful well equipped kitchen for large groups. The underfloor heating was an extra welcome luxury to ensure we were perfectly warm and cozy.

The kitchen could use additional casserole dishes, utensils, serving bowls for larger groups.

The location was lovely and we had plenty of room for our family.

Considering the price of the accommodation, I would have expected it to be clean, which it wasn’t. I had meet the cleaners on arrival as we were early, the cleaner was rude and even made an issue when I asked if one of the children could use the bathroom before they were finished cleaning. The house was not cleaned properly as there was cobwebs everywhere. Also there was no welcome pack provided which I thought was very bad again considering the price of the accommodation. The showers were not very powerful and the water was only warm at best. The literature provided in the house on the local area also needs to be updated.
