This cottage is perfect for a relaxing getaway or family fun. Beautiful sunsets, very peaceful. Hot Tub was amazing. Super comfortable beds. All the amenities of home. Will definitely rent again!

Our group enjoyed staying at King Fisher Lake House. We had breakfast in and ate out at other times. The amenities around made for a great trip. It was a top notch facility.

Very nice, well equipped water front cottage. Enjoyed our stay. But couple minor issues. The oven oes not work properly. Only the top heating element work. Therefore it burns pizza top, but Crest stays raw. The sliding door of the ground floor bathroom does not lock. The sliding door of the ground floor master bedroom does not stay closed. And there is no hook or counter surface to put towels or clothes. Apart from the above, all good.

I was not disappointed, the pictures and write up accurately described the property, check in was a breeze. Any questions I had were answered promptly, and politely. The basics were found in the house, anything I forgot at home happened to be there. The Park access was awesome and I met some great neighbours. Truly 5 star stay, will definitely rent with Paul again.

Once we got to the property, we quickly learned that it had not been well maintained. 1. Pocket door issues in main washroom - far too difficult to open and close and Ensuite rolled open without closing 2. Burnt out lights, different kinds of lights (warm and cold), flickering lights 3. Dishes were mostly dirty to down right disgusting (bacon grease on all of them, it seemed) 4. Oven only worked on the top element. Pizza was raw on the bottom. Second batch of cookies didn't even cook. This after having them in the over THREE times longer than recipe required. 5. Outside was covered in bird poop and webs 6. Not enough towels 7. Found towels in the wash so we dried them and put them away 8. Not enough side tables (in living room by fireplace chair and outside between the Muskoka Chairs) 9. Can opener needs to be replaced. 10. Some more detailed instructions as to how to use the TV/Alexa device would ave been appreciated, even just say what could and could not be attained.

Home had everything you will need for a great vacation. Wonderful location, close to so many things to do and places to eat. Definitely somewhere I hope we can return to.

Second time back. They go above and beyond on supplies. Super clean. Really cute and modern. Pictures don't even do justice.

We enjoyed staying at the cottage, it was a beautiful cottage and was very clean. We loved sitting in the sunroom and spending time in the new hot tub. The location was nice and visited Point Pelee park to hike a few trails.

We had a great time at this cottage. Upstairs bedrooms were a bit warm but fans were provide. Loved that we were given a pass to get into Point Pelee Park. No problem at all with check in.

We stayed her August 8th to 10th, 2021 during a heat wave. Check in at 4pm was a nightmare, the key code took an extra 43 minutes to be emailed to me (4:43pm). Our children and family members waited in the sweltering heat just to get the code from Phil to enter the property. The property exterior was engulfed with cob webs and there were 2 garbage and 2 recycled bins overflowing with garbage. We had no where to dispose of our garbage until the 2nd day when someone came and removed some. Inside the property the housekeeping was below par standards, floors were dirty with a musky pet odor, the dishwasher still had dishes in it, the laundry still had dirty clothes in it. The air-conditioning did not drop below 25 degrees celcius on the first floor and the 2nd floor had no air-conditioning which was definitely known by the owners and not disclosed to us, as they had left 2 useless fans in each room that only circulated the hot air. An A/C tech arrived the 2nd day and said the 2nd floor has no cold air because the vents were all installed wrong. Our children and adults did not sleep well at all due to the heat. Some of us slept on the first floor on an air mattress. The backyard is beautiful with access to the lake where you can relax on the deck or fish of the boulders in the lake (be careful). The bbq area and rotting deck has nails protruding outward and also some rotted boards, that when stepped on drop down, my wife twisted her ankle . We used a chair to cover this area so others would not get hurt. The first floor is nicely layed out with a spacious kitchen, living room, dining area and full bathroom. The 3 seasons is nice but does not have AC. The second floor bathroom was poorly layed out. The shower can barely fit an adult and was difficult to shower the kids as shower head was aimed at the glass, with no room to move inside the stall. This property has fantastic views, great location, is close to everything and is quiet! I am truly not trying to discourage anyone from planning a trip here, but do think they deserve to be fully informed, especially when traveling with kids or groups of 2 or more, if intending to use the 2nd floor. This place would be excellent if the owners spent some money to upgrade these issues and also precleaned the exterior prior to each guest as the nightly rates aren't cheap. It would then truly be a positive memorable vacation for anyone who wished to visit!!!! Unfortunately for our group it was quite the opposite...

We enjoyed 3 nights at Kingfisher. Sunsets on the waterside deck or under the shade of backyard trees was the highlight each night. Everything we needed was on hand - kitchen had everything, including some basics like coffee, tea, and sugar, and dish soap. 2 fridges was an unexpected bonus. master bedroom with 2 piece bathroom are on the main floor, very comfortable mattress. Large bathroom with jacuzzi tub on main floor as well. New outdoor dining set arrived on our first morning. Property manager, Paul, was very responsive.
